Ya the ppl have to sign a waiver. Why sometimes ppl are blurred out because they chose not to sign the waiver for whatever reason.

Yea that makes sense, I figured that...What I wonder is do like producers have to like run them down in the park after they walk away lol....

Also I wonder if they get paid...I'm sure they have to pay them to use their image.

I know on The Howard Stern Show, if you know Richard and Sal when they do prank calls, they prank someone and after they gotta call them back and pay them like $250-$500 or so to have them agree to let them use the call on the air. Sometimes they dont agree and cant use the call.

So I wonder if sometimes the person says no, and if they do say no can they still use it and just blur the face? Or just delete the scene?

Bq talked about it a lot on tesd if you guys ever listen to that pod cast. It's on Kevin smiths network. Really funny, q taking about the show was the only reason I knew it existed
He does the pod cast with the guys on comic book men which is also entertaining

If you've ever watched any of the big hidden-camera prank channels on Youtube, they'll often include in the extras them telling the "mark" that they're on camera and asking if it's okay to use them in the video. They don't need to sign anything as long as they acknowledge on camera that it's okay. If they say no, the footage can still be used so long as their face is blurred out. If you recall last week's punishment with Murr posing nude half of the painters were blurred and half weren't. The ones who didn't, didn't sign waivers/give verbal agreement.

I would imagine the marks don't get any money unless it's something like the one where they eat food off people's plates. You'd be surprised how many people seem to enjoy just being a part of a good prank and wouldn't even think to ask for compensation. I would think that they can find so many people who just enjoy being part of the prank that anyone who asked for money would just have their footage thrown out/blurred.

Yea I'm sure half just like the idea of being on the show especially nowadays since its a hit TV show.

Now how much you think Murr, Sal, Joe, and Q get per episode? I would think......

Based on about 10 episode season:

Season 1: 2k-5k per (25k-50k+ Total)

Season 2: 5k-10k per (100k+ Total)

Season 3: 10k-20k per (200k+ Total)

Maybe 200k might be hard to believe especially being on TruTV channel. I dont think TruTV could pay that much...But it is really the only "REAL" show on its station. All the others are scripted (Hardcore Pawn,Operation Repo, South Beach Tow, Lizard Lick....All those other s***ty fake ass shows LOL....

Plus bonus money depending on ratings which I'm sure aren't a problem since the show is a monster hit.

2 scenes I had on the DVR that need to be shared

1) When they are looking for roomates and no one responds to Q because of his ridiculous picture. Sal has a black guy and a girl with wierd short arms and is showing them the house. They sit on the couch to talk and Sal is told to raise glass higher and higher in the air while he talks. He gets his cup all the way up and then murray tells him to grab the girls cup and hold it in the air. So you have Sal having a straight faced conversation with both of his hands way up in the air holding cups of water. Then it goes to the next level when Sal has to lay down on the floor and continue the conversation with them while laying there and slowly backpeddling out of the room. I actually peed a little from that.

2) Joe is doing the grabbing food off the plate shtick and is equipped with camera eye wear so we can see from his perspective. He goes opposite a girl filling up her plate with vegetables and we see her hand and serving spoon putting it on her plate and then we see joe's hand and spoon casually taking her food and putting it on his plate. It was so smooth and so in your face i lost it completely

I have to also mention murrays apropos screen name for his dating profile "peeping-at-u"

love this show

Actually getting Rosie O'Donnell to show up as Q2 after three seasons of making fun of Q about his resemblance to her was epic.

My favorite part was when guests found out Sal didn't work there and they thought he was a random crazy off the street feeding them potatoes. Lol.

I'd probably go Q, Joe, Sal, Murr. Q's kinda nonchalant style gets me good, all his bits feel very real. I like Murr but think hes a little too smart for his own good, wouldn't be laughing as hard during some of his bits. Tbf tho there isn't much separating them.

I really like the banter stuff they have between bits whatever, kinda comforting to listen to, feels really genuine.

On one of Rogans Podcasts Doug Stanhope talks about the show and knows the lads well. Gist is that basically trutv are absolute *******s to work for and the lads have to follow a load of instructions. If people are desperate enough for link I might root it out.

Anyway off to watch the latest episode

How long of a contract did they sign? Hard to believe another network wouldn't swoop in and give these guys more money.

Pretty good episode tonight.

For anyone who saw it, the final prank was at a concert. Here is real video from it, and it's quickly obvious how much editing the show had. I don't mean as far as cutting parts out, but adding in the crowd. There is also extras that weren't in the episode:

It's becoming apparent these guys are starting to be recognized now. You can see people watching in the background at times. Hope they can keep the show fresh.

Yea and new episode of new season. Not a good sign. They should stick to doctor offices and fast food places where hopefully older people and single mothers with 3-4 kids don't recognize them.

When Q jumped on those 10 black guys on escalator without a belt and they all laughed, no doubt they knew who he was.

There's a huge difference though between the 1st season and now. It's like the Jersey Shore where they pretend they are still unknown while cameras are following them everywhere. If you follow the guys on Twitter, it's clear they are using the show to promote The Tenderloins. I think Sal or Q mentioned opening for SNL eventually. Q has talked about how he's so busy he rarely sees the other 3 anymore. So they are definitely expanding and exploring options.

Don't get me wrong, they are fantastic. But doing some of the dumb stuff like sneaking up behind strangers and whispering into their ears was not good.

Thought the most recent episode was great. And yeah I bet like 5% of the people have heard or would know of these guys. I know for one if I took a random poll of my family/friends no one would know what the hell I was talking about if I referenced impractical jokers.
