I'd take the over. I think he gets to 25 or more wins.

Her DD was still good relative to most. 9k surprised me. Yes 10k is obv better but I think 80% of contestants go like 2k there.

I didn't think Matt had the FJ. He looked to be struggling but I guess that was just the edit. He obv breathed a sigh of relief when she stupid jammed there.

I don't disagree. Just saying that it looked like she didn't understand the importance of maximizing her chances of finishing DJ with >2/3 of Matt's total.

If that's true and I were James, I'd be plenty salty about it.

Ken and Brad had plenty of extra shots since their initial runs.

James not getting that benefit of being GOAT-tier has got to be a bit disappointing at least.

I've recently been burning through Matt episodes on my DVR. His first game was really quite close. Toughest of the ones I've seen so far (I'm still way behind). A few things go the other way and this run ends before it even starts.

I didn't watch last night, but will confess I blanked on this one.

Like all good answers, it's "oh, of course (headsmack)" when you see it.

In his case, exactly one thing: if Josh gets that last $400 clue in DJ correct he’s a 4 day champion and Matt goes home with a grand total of $2000.

I just saw 'Moby Dick blockbuster' and couldn't come to anything else, though I admit that I have such a poor record on FJ that if I do get it I assume that the clue must be way too easy

I also blanked on it.

The damn elusive obvious. Final Jeopardy shouldn’t be that simple where people blank from how obvious it should be or second guess themselves into choosing a different answer instead of the obvious one.

Get your **** right Jeopardy!!!

Ha. She was very quirky but a pretty capable challenger.

Completely forgot that they added the extra question in case of a tie, as I was yelling at the screen when I saw Matt's FJ wager.

Wow that was a close one. Glad Matt's run continues. She probably should've shoved the DD she got wrong unless she really didn't like the category.

If Matt liked FJ category, he may as well have bet to 2x 3rd + 1 because Nicolle is obv shoving.

I blanked on it initially, but 1974 + large sea creature triggered me to think of Jaws.

I blanked on it reading itt and thought it must have a "tracking down someone who murdered my child" vibe.

I wish they had been a little less lazy and air some “new” old Alex episodes instead of re-airing the same 2 weeks they did at the end of last year.

TBH I might prefer the re-run of the ToC over the original airing of some of the really crappy episodes we had thanks to Covid restrictions.

Yesterday it was a 90s Ken Jennings episode
Where I’m at, they air a year-before episode at Noon everyday still, then new one at 4:30

Edit - Ken was 2003-4, the video looks terrible I’d have guessed like 97

If you're curious what's on for the next two weeks, it's the same as last December.

The majority of other articles focused on the LaVar Burton drama. IMO that just takes away from the credibility of other complaints about the selection process and hire.

Besides that I always wonder if a lot of those people who demand a 'diverse' hire are actual fans of the show or if it's more about them having an issue with the part of the core audience who would prefer to have another white male. I'm probably too young to understand that latter group but that doesn't mean their opinion should be dismissed.

I don’t see how Richards can survive this. Just give us Ken or Buzzy or the lady that Alex said he wanted. Just someone that loves the show, understands the game and doesn’t distract (Amy Farrah Fowler yuck)

There’s starting to be some internal scuttlebutt from Sony that Richards could be yanked. It’s gotten to the point that public perception isn’t going to let this happen. They supposedly taped today and scheduled tomorrow before having some time to possibly adjust. If it happens I’d bet either Ken or Mayim gets the nod.

If it doesn’t happen in the next week though I doubt it will.
