From the moment she excitedly announced to go for all of her $400 on a daily double, Grace was my favorite contestant in a while. Was even more impressed with her in the DJ round when she basically decided to sit that one out, presumably to focus her energy on FJ.

I didn’t notice it at all on Monday and Tuesday, and then you’re right, the rest of the week she excessively laughs on clues and responses. It’s weird, it’s like somebody told her you have to start laughing

The combination of Mayim and Julia might be a little too bubbly for my taste, too.

That said, I prefer happy and excited over serious and dogged but the majority of the core audience might disagree with that.

The leader has to make a small cover bet in case he doubles up which would drop her behind Ankit on a miss, which is what happened. While his wager was not GTO, ($7600 shows the highest winning chances) it’s not a huge mistake because the leader hardly ever wagers $0 in this spot.

Thanks for the explanation guys. I think I get it a little more. Good thing I'll never be on Jeopardy to worry about this, and will remain a recfish at poker.

Also think Mayim started great, and has went down a little. The giggles mentioned above. Also, nobody cares that your junior high school was named after one of yesterday's answers.

I have to agree with you. I really liked her initially, but she started annoying me by the end of the first week.

Her comments pregame and pre DJ/FJ had little variety, but her blatant brag regarding her "presentation skills" and education at the end last night, convinced me she would be a bad choice.

Polar opposite of Alex's self-deprecating humor.

"Come on guys...Ferdinand!" I had no idea either.

She did come off a little "I'm smarter than the players" sometimes.

To be fair, she did admit earlier in her hosting that she didn't know the answer either on a no guess. I'm sure it wasn't an ego thing, just not being self-deprecating like Kurn mentioned.
