Agreed. He went from -200 to having the lead in like 2 minutes. When he was in the red with 2 categories left, I was thinking how crazy it would be for a defending champ to not even make it to FJ, which I assume must have happened at some point in the show' s history just because of the sheer number of total episodes, but must be incredibly rare. I certainly have never seen it. Does anyone know what % of contestants are in the red before FJ? My pure guesstimate would be maybe 1/16 or 17.

I wonder how you can know the least important small details in 100 different subject areas that almost nobody else cares about but have zero clue about the #1 sports in the country. It's not like any of the 5 questions were hard and you could argue that the first four were really trivial. Even if the Superbowl is the only football game you watch all year, you probably know what a fair catch or offsetting penalties are?

I think everyone made a good wager last night? First place is debatable since you can never count on second wagering small in that scenario, but at least it’s a “thinking player” wager. Take note those that like to say “lolwomen” whenever a woman makes a dumb wager.

Exactly what I said when it happened. I told the girlfriend that second would probably win with a good wager, but that I didn't have much confidence in her making it. Then she did, and first followed with what looked like it could be a second-level wager. The girlfriend commented that I doubted them, being women, but they showed me. And I responded that I want to see the next game before giving first credit.

Had no impact, but Carlos got the last answer right... then there were like 2 wrong answers, still Carlos’s pick and Alex didn’t say anything, There’s a pause and Marty selects the next question.
It was Carlos’s pick still.
There was only 3 answers left, and Marty murdered the field, but I wonder what would’ve happened if it were close and there was a DD or something out there

Little late but woman on Wednesday ended up 100 short going into FJ. Of course she was going straight down the final category so she got what she deserved. Then she massively overbet FJ from a close 2nd.
