Alex mentioned at the top of the show that the champ had hurt her leg, might have had something to do with it.

6,601 such an odd bet. 6,599 shuts out 2nd place.
0 is also an odd bet (as is anything under 600).

btw, FJ was very difficult. Who thinks they would have accepted "cerebral" if offered as a question in J or DJ? I think yes. It's close enough to correct if P2 had bet all in they might have to ask her back?

Yeah, probably one that just comes to you or it doesn't. I started thinking about phrenology, thinking about the face and head, and it came to me quickly. Girlfriend was impressed. Said she never would have gotten it. I don't think cerebral works with phrenology or cultured.

They've been doing it all season.

6601 must have done the math then added instead of subtracted a dollar. At least she didn't idiot shove from a close 2nd.

Agree on Nan. There is an appeal there.

Ya, I take back every “Easiest FJ ever” that I’ve posted.
Was like a $200 clue.

Old Man gets a DD in a $400 clue really early with like $3,200 when the women had like $800 and $200 or something. Bets $800... Come on dude, it’s a $400 clue.

Then, he gets the DD on the last clue. He has $4,000 the leader has $14,000 and he bets $3,000. Why not at least $3,001 so you could win with tie/tie shoves

Nice come from behind tonight. Snags the last 2,000 clue to get just over 2/3 then bets small in FJ and beats first by $2 on a double miss.

I was concerned at the time because if he missed the 2,000 then he drops below 1/2 and loses for sure. Only worth the risk to get about 2/3.

With a category like "not a sequel", where your random shot has 33%, is there a reason not to try to buzzer as early as possible and then (re)read and answer? Unless you have absolutely no idea about the topic, but in this case everyone has at least some film knowledge and all 5 questions were really easy.

Just got caught up on the week, I thought Thursday's FJ accidentally came from the Celebrity Jeopardy file. And by that, I mean the SNL Celebrity Jeopardy file.

Dude today guessed “Clinton” on FJ, and Alex tells him not a bad guess...
You know, those multiple US Presidents with the last name Clinton.

It’s legitimately an awful guess, you only have 5 choices

Not to mention that Bill Clinton was never in either house of Congress or VP.

That might have been the perfect time to use the "Smith, Johnson, Williams" system and end up with Johnson just because there haven't been any Smith or Williams presidents.
