Yesterday's final jeopardy was worded horribly.
Quote:
The title subject of a 2007 bestseller, it was discovered in Australia where today it's a state emblem.
I was thinking of something like Uluru or an ancient hominid (a la Australopithecus), that's what "discovered" implies. Maybe some flora or fauna that was found in the last couple of decades.

The title subject of a 2007 bestseller, it is native to Australia where today it's a state emblem.
That's an extremely tough FJ but at least makes sense.
Quote:
This bird, found on the state flag of Western Australia is also the title of a 2007 bestseller.
That's still a difficult FJ but fair.
Quote:
This "colorful" bird, found on the state flag of Western Australia is also the title of a 2007 bestseller.
That's still quite tough!
