Well, she's committed to missing FJ and betting appropriately. Can say that at least.

From the guy that blurted out RISE of the King.....

That poor girl in the middle finishing in the Red and starting to cry...

Really sucks that the girl on the right couldn't finish the answer, but Kirstin is hot and I'm happy.

It's tough when FJ requires such a long answer , I wonder if writing Return of the King would have satisfied the judges or they needed the full Lord of the Rings preface

I liked Kirstin's FJ wager , particularly if she felt weak on Oscar catergory although she would have looked bad if it had been a ridiculously easy question.

Most of the wagering suggested here is based on idea that first is >50% to get FJ right. So if a category comes up that sucks for you, betting small accordingly makes sense (simple first order analysis situations).

I'm not sure she is basing on category or an overall lack of confidence. Would be nice to see her cover bet from first in a category she likes. Til then we have n=2.

Confirmed no clue on wagering. Went bigger and needlessly brought 3rd into play when she was within 2/3 of first. Her luck continues to hold as her nearest opponent once again missed FJ. On a slam dunk clue no less.

There was a clue about a WWII Nazi "puppet" leading Norway named Quisling (don't remember how the J! clue was worded). The player said "Who is Quiznos" which drew a laugh.

Lilly seems like a buzzsaw. Too bad about Esteban, they all probably would have moved on if he got FJ.

Picked a good time to go overseas this week. Will be back in time for the final, no worries about catching up on the DVR unless things blow up here.

Always tilts me so much when someone is trailing by a ton late, and they don't hunt for the DD.
Girl today has like $6k and guy has $20k, she has control, and out of the 6 remaining questions she chooses the $400 one which isn't a DD

Very unlikely to matter but when a girl has 6200 for FJ why wager 6100? Just shove. Firing up the lolbot if she misses a wildcard spot by 100 or less.

Speaking of this, I'm actually moving to Asia on Friday. Does anyone itt watch jeopardy! from abroad? I'm sure I'll be able to find a stream if I look hard enough, but could use a tip if you got one!

That's what I said to my girlfriend, that it will be funny if she misses out on advancing by 100.

Here's my weird observation as an avid jeopardy watcher who somewhat recently got into horses.

Every episode has 1 clue pertaining to horses in some way.

Try to Unsee that

Second one cost her wild card. Girl on Friday also with awful wager that didn't hurt her since got right, but at least we finally have an attractive contestant in the college tournament. She reminds me of a young Molly Parker from Deadwood and House of Cards. Guy in third would have advanced if didn't screw up last clue with duet instead of duo.
