I just think it's a little silly to judge our education system by such a small sample size. You could easily do the same thing with any number of categories that were saved until the end on a given night.

Maybe kids should spend more time learning Native American history, but judging on this basis is not the way to make that determination. Also, as Carter pointed out, they saved it til the end but still knew the answers. Kind of throws a monkey wrench into the theory of our racist history curriculum.

By the way, didn't mean to imply you were offended, I was referring to the author of the blog.

(Handshake) on sample size, but as noted, the clues were super easy. I'm not saying it's malicious, but if you don't think our education system is inherently racist.... We don't need to discuss this in the jeopardy thread though!

Not to continue the derail, but what percentage of US college students can tell you about the Pequot Wars, or the Black Hawk War, or even tell you what Andrew Jackson was most famous for before becoming POTUS. Or the government backed slaughter of plains bison.

Just sayin'

and I'm not a liberal

Pretty good game 4/15. I'm glad the old cooze lost.

Wonder what the odds were on Andrew winning before double jeopardy?

I'm about a week behind, but did watch tonight. It seemed over halfway thru the first round.

You'll enjoy the first game he wins. It was a great game.

6 figures for 3 shows is pretty sick. Seems like he probably just didn't have the hang of the buzzer in round 1 of his first game because he's completely owned the next 5 rounds. Good personality too hope he does well.

It's too bad he doesn't have bigger balls. Seemed to grow some for a second but used them all up in one shot.

Not only a mandatory buzz-in freeroll in hopes it'll come to you, but guessable, and she knew it. Fail fail fail!

Wow. If he had the confidence and the knowledge on the last DJ and FJ he could've easily hit $100k on the night.

Seems pretty reliant on how confident he is in the category which I think is fine strategery

I believe he ran 4 categories in the last episode? I don't think I've ever seen that before.

That $1000 DD bet... If she misses she is out, if she gets it, she still needs the $2000 clue for it to not be a runaway. Then she bets enough in FJ to allow the third place guy to tie for second... But he bets all but $1.

Her FJ wager was correct, in a tie for 2nd the person with more money going into FJ gets the $2k 2nd place money.

The rest of her wagering was beyond awful.

Champs buzzer skills are top notch. Range of knowledge is suspect, though.

Did he really not know "bleachers" or was "SCORCH" a level since he bet $0?

Seems like he knows nothing about sports so just blanked on the clue.

I'm pretty into sports (just did Houston which makes 16/30 baseball stadiums with the Mrs) and I blanked on bleachers, just didnt get the clue.

I totally get blanking on an obvious answer that you know you should get. It happens to everybody. I'm not sure from his reaction that that was the case here.

The FJ clue tonight was kinda ridiculous. Why single out just the NFL like that? it made me assume it was a town like Jacksonville that is only represented in the NFL
