It seemed like that double jeopardy miss in the first round temporarily broke his brain. He was at $5.4k and dominating as usual, he missed it and then went to zero and for the rest of the round barely buzzed in and when he did, he usually got it wrong. So he starts double jeopardy at -$600 and at that point he fixed whatever was broken and started to dominate again.

I think at that point in the round, there were only low $ amount clues. So he was just taking shots trying to run something up

Matt got lucky with the double jeopardys today. This is the only game I can remember since I started watching where his opponents had control of the board for a significant amount of time AND they were consistently choosing high value clues.

Usually Matt has control for virtually the entire game and in the rare chances when his opponents get it back, they often choose low value clues. It's baffling that so many people are not playing what is essentially the basic strategy for Jeopardy.

Did anyone else get the feeling that Richards' closing line last night was a retake after he knew he was out of the job? Seemed like an odd way to close the end of the week as the permanent host.

No I’m sure they did and she was better at that but I just find her to be annoying in general and she’ll always get on my nerves no matter what.

Ya just watched and I actually liked her, no laughing and giggling while reading… But if you find her annoying in general I get it.

Idk if it’s racist to assume Carlo was Spanish but I enjoyed him getting every Spanish question he rang in on wrong

Mayim has been solid this week. I haven't seen any of the previous episodes when she hosted.

I can't believe Matt is so popular. The dude was running away with the game after about 5 minutes last night. 90% of the episodes are like that. It's like watching the Harlem Globetrotters vs the Washington Generals and trying to enjoy it as a competitive sport. It gets old really fast. I feel like at this point I'm just hate watching the show so it's probably time to give up on it.
