Surprised there's no mentions of Austin losing today.

The woman that beat him seems SUPER strong. Austin was only in striking range of her because of the DDs. She also mentioned meeting her husband at trivia, which makes me think she does it a lot.

I didn't think it was that big of a deal and might even be a good thing for the show. Usually, having a "super champion" is pretty good marketing-wise, but maybe not so much if that person looks more unfocused and bored by the day.

The first time you respond with a big smile and "oopsy" after you accidentally buzzer in, makes people think you're not taking yourself too seriously. Continuing to do that looks just smug.

Well Scarlet was a huge disappointment, don’t think she rang in on any of the last like 20 clues.

And the other girl hits the DD with only a $1,600 clue left. She’s down $3,400 so of course she bets $3,000 leaving herself $400 back going into Final.
Just makes no sense whatsoever.

I'm a jeopardy truther and believe the fix was in the other day. One of the last categories was "The End is Near," which led right into a friggin Dolly Parton DJ category that the girl ran.

Not to mention Alex always subtly puts the kibosh on champions early with a cryptic comment on games they end up losing.

And then it ended up being an easy one to guess with carnation. When you think of a pink flower, you think pink carnation. My girlfriend and I both guessed it, though we thought it was wrong. Of course, she got FJ wrong and he got it right anyway.

This is why I can't watch the show. One dumbass that screws himself in the DD wager, and one dumbass that thinks Tibet is a country... and I still can't get on despite qualifying umpteen times.

Not even was FJ pretty easy with very basic geography knowledge but how somebody could answer "Tibet" is beyond me. That's not even a (UN recognized) country.

The other two got at least one part right, Iraq (barely) borders the Persian Gulf and Azerbaijan is at the Caspian Sea. But especially for someone in the military that should have been a very easy question.

Yes, why the hell go for the tie on the DD? If you miss--you lose, might as well go for the lead.

I was Iran or Iraq, big countries that border the persian on their southern ends.

that episode was infuriating. All 3 played really badly and had some terrible answers. Middle guy doesn't go for the lead on his DD. Then on last question after he gets it wrong, Frannie the Tranny rings in with a wrong answer of her own. She could've stood pat to take the lead into FJ instead of what, trying to extend her lead to $800? And if she had, she would've won bc she wouldn't have had to wager it all in FJ. Seriously tilting episode.

Tibet has to be the worst Final Jeopardy answer ever ,even if it could be considered a country it is landlocked in the Himalayas and so could not possibly border any sea let alone two different ones , at least she picked a place in Asia .

Huge LOL at today's game. Middle guy makes a huge mistake and bets $5100 instead of just going AI when he hits the DD, then Fran buzzes in and misses after middle guy gives her the lead on the last question. And then she tops it off by answering LOL Tibet in FJ, which:

Is nowhere near the Middle East.
Is landlocked.
Isn't even a country.

There are only two valid wagers in this spot, nothing or everything. And if one is not comfortable with the category, a zero wager is fine assuming 3rd place is not a factor.
