What kinda stupid sh*t is that? Hasslehoff? Really? You're trying a bit too hard to be insulting and it's not really working.

She's never been a "sick actress". She's been good enough to get the job done her entire career. Depending on the character, she was able to be herself and deliver the lines and it worked. But at this point, she's not even trying, much like HIMYM in general. She's been phoning in it for the most part since season 5 and maybe even before.

She used to be adorable and hot at the same time, which is a hell of a combo. She's not attractive to me anymore, who gives a sh*t?

ok, Im extremely tolerant. I have very very low standarts. I actually still somewhat enjoy entourage, I enjoyed Lost (till the end), I didnt mind Barney+Robin and holy **** I actually enjoyed most of this season of HIMYM (which seems to be quite weird). I mean, I dont give a **** about the mother, but I think that Barney stuff is fairly well done and Jason Segel is fun to watch regardless of stupid **** writers make Marshall do.

That said, Zoe is killing this show for me. That actress is hot, but jesus do I hate her at this point. She was annoying as **** on House and now she is killing HIMYM.

And while some jokes in last ep were decent (again, barney+marshall, beatboxing) and some neutral (lily robin), Marshall's ******ed and unrealistic (even for me and thats saying something ffs) decision to go against his two best friends (and I dont give a **** about their excuse about preserving stuff), not to mention his decision to retaliate to barney/ hate on GNB, considering his situation before he got the job, was just sooo bad it made even me cringe, hate myself for watching this and consider quitting for the first time in years.

Ted doing the same was just nail in a coffin, just so ******ed, ridiculous, stupid.

I'd like to know who came up with idea: ok, so Ted is main character and likeable character. We are gonna get him his dreamjob designing a skyscraper in NYC. After that, we are gonna introduce this old building that is supposed to be torn down because of that, and this chick that doesnt like that. Ted is gonna be willing to give up on his lifelong dream for a chick he met once, but then he finds out she is married, so he continues his work.

Later on, they get together, we are actually gonna show Arcadian from the inside and confirm that its absolutely useless old building that should be torn down asap, we'll even show Zoe not being able to stay there for one full night, thus making Zoe even more ridiculous. And AFTER that we are gonna make Ted give up on his lifelong dream for this, at this point confirmed, piece of **** useless old building.

After reading that I actually really dont know why I enjoyed this season.

yeah ive really disliked zoe. tough type of show to keep it good for so long. i dont really have a problem with allison or lily character, the writers have just ruined her. wheres the poop? i mean what can you even do with awful writing like that. end the series and let jason segel and neil patrick harris get back to producing gold.

Given the show, it's probably Zoe and the captain out of nowhere.

I laughed a lot in this episode. Yes, the writing is bad sometimes and the story lines are at many times unbelievable, so I agree with most of the post above.

But..

I still like the show, I don't take the story seriously, I just enjoy the laughs and thats all I expect from it.

Entourage on the other hand, needs a good story line, I love that show and I expect every character and situation to be believable.

I cut shows I'm committed to a LOT of slack but that was terrible. Did the writers forget to do something with the "walking by the table" bit? The alcohol subplot was beyond stupid...

I am pretty sure I am a different drunk when I drank only beer vs only liquor. Different kinds of liquor - I dont think so.

i think two or three different reactions isn't out of the question...i know people that have different reactions beer vs liquor vs wine...but not for every different type of liquor...

and it's not like you can go from one drink to another and get different results.

That's a bit nitty though. If they had done wine, beer and liquor, it would have been fine imo.
Showing three different nights, with three different drinks would have been even lamer.

Yeah. At least they had the whole "Will he or won't he" with Ted the Arcadia ending made SOME sense.

Other then that, dog crap.

I dunno, my standards for this show have fallen so low that any episode which doesn't end with me in the shower trying to scrub the shame of watching it off my skin like bringing home the fat chick at the club -- that's what passes for okay these days. It wasn't good, it wasn't very funny, and it certainly didn't make much sense. But I did like Barney in the period getup during the dream, licking the chicken wings, and looking aghast at the plain chick texting in his bed. And nothing about it made me vomit in my mouth like most of this season has.

P.S. Any episode with a lot of Bob Odenkirk can't be all bad.

That is true. Nothing to be totally disgusted about, but I didn't really enjoy it.

Ya I mean at least they're done with this ******ed, and for sure the single worst storyline in the series. Lets hope they come up with something at least mildly amusing now.

And significantly hotter woman in Nora. They should bring her back. Hottest girl in the show by far. I really liked the red head that Barney had in Ted's moving van during the 2nd season though. She was smoking too.
