haha wow---i missed that one too.

But as for the topic, maybe I don't understand this forum but why was this a derail? I can accept that arguing about unimportant facts of any given episode are annoying---but if the point of that 2k1 line was supposed to be another joke about the Blitz being behind on everything, well at least to me it certainly didn't register one bit, so if it did with others it seems worthwhile discussing, isn't that the reason this thread exists?

Plus i spent like 2 posts on it, and now it will be dropped forever, so chill out.

The stuff with Barney and the pregnancy was so obvious I was irritated that they didn't reveal it faster.

The stuff on the boat was laughably stupid.

It was nice to see Marshall get to play off someone/something different than Lily/baby stuff.

Am I crazy or was Sagat not narrating this ep? He sounded a little off and I wouldn't have thought twice about it but I know he has a show of his own coming up so I woas wondering if maybe it wasn't him.

i liked it. Not great, but jumped over my admittedly still low standards for this show. wife did not like the narration.

Also, she thinks that it isn't Bob Saget doing the narration anymore.

Sagat was probably choking on how ****ing ******ed his lines were. Jesus christ he had to talk way too much this episode. Even though it had a couple of funny parts this was easily a bottom 5 episode.

Ted's daughter should have murdered future Ted and then left to chill with Maggie Q on a much better show.

Pretty brutal ep considering the season has been pretty good so far.

and i often find myself wanting unlikely people to pair off in the shows i watch but this might have turned me off from it a bit. then again, taking the "it's awkward" approach is lazy/bad writing. cuz i did enjoy robin and marshall in the car in the snow storm going to pick up lily at the airport. so yea, i guess this show is just a ghost of its former self.

meh, last 6 minutes were better. but not enough for me.

it is starting to tilt me how himym works. a character has an idea. than changes his idea because it doesn't look as good. and finally goes back to first idea. this time, it was babystuff, robin's career change and barney's thing.

could we have characters who stick to their ideas for once? having some doubts may be more human since nobody is perfect, but always having doubts makes you look like a loser.
