I stopped watching the show after Marshall's dad died, ended up deciding to catch back up again the other night and i dunno if its just cos i caught it in a good mood, but the last four eps since then were pretty damn solid imo.

Anyway, they surely have to introduce the mother in the finale, presumably have them get together over the next season and begin dating, then get married on that finale and then close with the early marriage the season after and wrap up the loose ends.

There are numerous shows/movies in which the voice overs are done by different actors.. off the top of my head The Wonder Years and Stand By Me would be 2 that did it without it being dumb IMO.

..I guess we could nit and say the difference being teens vs a ~20 yr old and how much a voice could change could be caught up but aside from some deepening it doesnt change too much. I think its just a standard case of we look too much into it trying to be that guy that said "I told you it wasnt Ted telling the story" yadayadayada

i hope they introduce the mother this season, they tell us who she is, and she becomes a regular that we love for the next two seasons. show doesn't have to end as soon as we know who she is.

yeah I really liked last episode, bunch of corny cheesy stuff but I liked it anyway.
Also I like barney's girl, good to know we will see some more of her at least at some point

The Barney/Nora stuff is the best part of the show right now, they need to stick to that.

So many of the little things have been missing like :

When was the last time Barney said suit up?
When was the last time Ted/Robin saluted?
When was the last time they were in Barneys awesome apartment?

..they seem to forget about what got them to be a great show!

S1 and 2 of HIMYM were indeed great. Community is better. Its also current and you could catch up to the current broadcasts by the time it returns next Thursday.

Just caught up on the latest episode. Thought it was pretty good mostly, although the dog plot is just a huge wtf. Also, the "it literally skipped a beat" line was beyond awful, ugggh.
