it's sad that this ep felt satisfying because we got answers to questions we already knew. and, in fact, questions we shouldn't have been asking in the first place.

also, if this show ended tonight forever knowing how wendy met her husband, i'd be satisfied.

Decent ep, Marshall / Lily annoying as usual but Ted's stuff was solid and Barney Kilt w most of his lines.

If they use Marshall being sad about his Dad again I'm gonna... post on here that I'm really angryyy.

Good ep because NPH is so great.

Dog support plot sucked (though I do like the running sandwiches gag), and the heart monitor device was cheesy and reeked of effort but NPH is just so so so good.

Hopefully Robin's Mr. T dream lives up to the comic potential.

I dunno, the scene at the bar when Ted, Marshall, and Lily all took turns rapid-fire punning in Scooby's oblivious face was the fastest-paced joke rate this season. Pretty much every line was funny and it happened so quick you could barely keep up with it.

NPH is great and Nora is apocalyptically hot, but the story still came off as cheesy for me. "His heart literally skipped a beat!" What is this, the Grinch Who Stole Pussy?

thinks its pretty obvious the end game is going to be them bringing the Nora story arc back, barney getting her back, them getting married, and one of the episodes theres going to be a line where Barney says something like "Ted I know I'm not your best friend but your my best friend and I want you to be my best man", and then Ted meets his wife there.
