yeah, this is what I would like to tell those who are not enjoying it so far. show will probably get really good once the time passes since the major players in the story are in the future. up to now it has just been a huge prologue.

lol, especially with family
but tbh ppl should know that by now with grrm huh

show airs 2 hours earlier on the east coast than the west, so it's always a risk to kill time on twitter watching sunday night football or whatever waiting for it to come on, but i often risk it (who care right?). anyway, i accidentally saw a few things come across before this one, including someone saying that the most ****ed up thing in the history of got/hotd happened. so while ppl were watching the most shakespearean drama ep they've ever done, i was on the edge of my seat waiting for something totally insane to happen in every scene lol. try watching it again in that context for a laugh.

still don't know what they were referring to. probably the uncle stuff, but maybe the old gross king banging alicent? idk #goodtalk

oh, maybe it's a canadian hbo thing then, idk
i know most ppl get it at 9 eastern/6 pacific, but it airs are 8 pacific on what i have
some carriers have both, i know my buddy does (different carrier)
or maybe it's an extra fee for both...
i don't really care though, usually watching snf until 8-9 anyway

I lived in Tampa most of my life so I still like watching the Bucs. Gotta watch City on a Hill first also.

itt: people think there are writers for a show that's already written in a book

I wonder how long this show is planned for.

Personally, do Dance of the Dragons, then transition into another era.

All 3 of those Dunc and Egg books would work.

The Unworthy King legitimizing all his bastards would make for great political intrigue.

Aegon's conquest I'm not interested in as basically his dragons wtfpwned everyone.

Roberts Rebellion would make a decent last season.

it's planned for 2-3 seasons so it's only covering the dance of dragons.

Definitely enjoying the show so far, just binged the first four eps. Pretty standard tropes so far. Haven't read the books so this is all new lore to me.

thought i heard 3-4 seasons, and if the ratings stay good they might do more stories from fire & blood

yeah ppl seem to think dunc & egg would be good, but would they want to go down that road again with unfinished work? grrm has only written like 25% of it? if he knows where he's going with everything, maybe

could see robert's rebellion happening bc it involves so many got characters

sounds like this jon snow show is in some form of production, not sure i like that though. and hotd has been mentioning nymeria and the 10k ships a lot, heard they were thinking about that too

if this ip stays hot they could do a lot of stuff like everyone else these days, hopefully they don't just rush garbage out though and kill the golden goose

odd thing about robert's rebellion is that we have got characters but younger, while the actors are like 10 years older now. they'd either have to make some make up/cgi magic or change actors completely, both of which I don't like. it's still my favorite part of all asoiaf though because so many cool things happen.

Great episode!

Wish we had more Vic dialogue. Him talking about his legacy was classic GOT dialogue that this show needs.

Dunc and Egg has an ending...its called the tragedy of Summerhall!

They could just do a season or 2 and end with that.

Would be a surreal red wedding type episode.

I'm skeptical of Snow too.

But judging from this show's success and if it maintains its quality..then yeah the golden goose definitely ain't done.
