Spoiler:
Frank wanted Conway in on the hostage crisis because if Conway was involved then if/when things went to hell Conway couldn't come after Frank too hard. In essense he'd own the crisis too.

After all the stuff he said about the gay guy who hung himself in Russia, just don't see him killing himself. Ever

"I don't know what sort of timeline etiquette dictates, but House of Cards was released on 3/4 and we're still posting in spoiler tags. Nothing has been hard determined. Maybe 1 month is good?"

X-post from Daredevil thread. Is 1 month a good mark to stop spoiler tags?

I'm surprised anyone would click a thread for a binge watch show without having seen it.

The lets-make-Claire-the-VicePres story line was the thing that ruined this season for me. All for suspending disbelief and all that, but even for this show, it was one leap too far imo.

Liked the ending though although one little nit:

Spoiler:
2 20-something white dropouts from the deep south being fluent in Arabic was lol

Due to my watching The Killing, I really didn't like the choice at first, but by the end of the season he won my approval.

Maybe that's the 1% that's not accurate

Better than season 2 and waaaay better than season 3 but still pretty bad over hyped over rated tv.

Apparently no less than Bill Clinton told Kevin Spacey that HoC is 99% real.

Finally binged this season over the last couple of days, really enjoyed it and agree it was much better than S3, but I hate that there was no complete story arc to the season. We have to wait, what, another year or so to find out what happens next? They should have ended the season with the general election, or at least provide a resolution while hinting at something else. This feels like the second part of the season needs to come, rather than a new one.

Pretty sure that Clinton "analysis" came in season 1. Obama (who also loves the show) says he wishes real life were that ruthlessly efficient...lol.

Where it stopped is best, in my opinion. One reason is because they can play what happens in our general into the show (they were going for balls out crazy in their cycle, but had no idea how balls out crazy real life was going to be). Remember, one of the big themes early in the season was $6 gas and rationing. That missed so badly. Another reason it's good it ended where it did is because you don't want that similar season 3 let down to happen in the theoretical final season. Everything fell apart for them, and now it's time to see if they can fix it or be done. I definitely would not want the general election to end season 4. Also, every season has ended on a light cliffhanger, except season 2. They like to pick up where they left off, literally (at the end of season 1, they were running in a park, and the beginning of season 2 was a continuation of that scene).

Planned on binging a couple episodes today but caught myself surfing on the iPad midway through the first episode already. Stopped after episode 1 and am not too thrilled about continuing.

Real life politics is so ridiculous right now, seems almost impossible for them to top that in a way that keeps the show interesting.

I still like it...3 episodes in...although watching this in the Age of Trump makes it a little less entertaining.

Watched the first 3 eps. It's barely keeping my interest. Can't put my finger on it, but it just doesn't have the quality of the first 3 seasons. Not sure I can be bothered putting in 10 more hours to finish the season.

The Tom Yates story line is already beyond tiresome...

Really enjoying the binge, but yeah, Tom Yates is dead weight.

Through three episodes I wonder how much total screen time has been just showing Yates just sitting or standing somewhere with a blank look on his face or a long pause leading up to him saying some cryptic one-liner. I hope they have some interesting endgame planned out.
