i know the show took a funny dip in a couple of earlier seasons

but this is one of my top 10 series

i like it also cos i watch it with my Dad who is in his 70s and he enjoys it

It was the best show airing new episodes. BCS was a let down and Westworld has always sucked. I hope this show goes out with a bang.

I actually thought that was a really great finale.

Its nice that things played out without much last second miraculous day-saving. Very satisfying ending.

Even though the fact that the new haqqani did blow up a border checkpoint full of american soldiers would still be worth going to war.

That was a GREAT finale to wrap up a really good final season. Respect, Homeland. Not many shows have been this good eight seasons in.

This has been and is still my problem with it all along. We're supposed to believe she did all that to Saul and it was all for nothing.

Pretty fantastic final season, good job Homeland. Claire Danes and Mandy Patinkin have both done an incredible job throughout.

Black box or not, after the bombing, they're still going after haqqani. The only thing Carrie basically did is torpedo her relationship with Saul in a way that's completely unbelievable to me and get the asset killed. Then we're supposed to believe that schmuck believes she's in love with him and now she's privy to the biggest Russian military secrets?

Come fall when all the shows that were put on hiatus due to COV aren't airing, we are going to realize how we took for granted Homeland cranking out 8 seasons worth of watchable TV. With a couple of those being pretty good.
