Those calling joel2006 a troll, can you write what exactly makes you think he is a troll and why?

All I read is personal attacks against him without any counter-arguments.

What has Homeland done this season that isn't or couldn't be true?

To those who think that Homeland is only showing muslims in a bad light, are you ignoring the scene where Carrie is being called out by a her boyfriend?

I've liked this season so far and was happy to see current issues like the refugee crisis in Europe, terrorist organazations, cyber attacks etc. are parts of the plot.

E3 was a bit slow though and I hope the show picks the speed back up from E4.

terrorism from muslims is not much of a threat relatively speaking. the resources spent preventing terrorism is ridiculous, and most likely does more harm than good.

and usa#1 is far and away the greatest purveyor of violence on earth.

even on this show, haven't carrie and quinn killed more people than any muslim? i haven't kept count.

in season 1 usa#1 bombed an elementary school. imagine if muslims blew up an elementary school in america.

*sigh* i tried to keep quiet, but i couldn't.

Are we seriously just supposed to buy that they don't have surveillance cameras in Germany?
I think it's more of a problem that he left the body. Some women that is probably at least suspected by the german authorities winds up with a bullet hole directly in her forehead. It looks like a hit to me. How many times can that happen before the Germans figure that the Americans (because who else?) have someone mid-rampage on their territory?

Hahahahaha....no. Sure, it's tried to provide some balance, it's still very very weighted towards USA#1.

This is an unreasonable concern. Why would Carrie be shooting at his head? Going for headshots isn't really a thing people do except in exceptional circumstances.

Almost certainly not a .50 cal, but a more reasonable concern than ^^^^

Still happens, right? Do you feel this show paints all muslims as terrorists?

And you feel too much is spent to prevent terrorism in real life? Isn't that what the US (and the west) is doing in this show as well?

Well didn't USA (or at least Carrie) get called out for it in the show with the "how can you live with yourself?" comment? Last season Carrie(iirc she made the call in the end) bombed a wedding killing a lot of civilians and the target wasn't even there.

I might have some time ago, and if so I've learned better since then. Mea culpa.

the people who appreciate the realism of this show should really watch the slightly older american documentary "24"

Should have learned from GoT and killed her right then and there. Instead we're going to get an Adam West Batman episode where Quinn hangs her by her feet and slowly lowers her into a pool of hungry sharks.

And the complete 180 by Sol and the Station Chief was totally wtf. First he's like, "you're fired" then she's like "no, you" and then he's like "how dare you" then they're bumping uglies. plot twist gone awry.

Just watched ep 1. Paused it halfway through and made the realization that During Foundation is the Brody of this season/future seasons.

The viewer will remain unsure whether what During is doing is for good or bad. Carrie will flip flop on her view as well, likewise with the CIA. Carrie and the CIA will always remain opposite with their view as to whether During is good or bad.

Obviously need to watch ep 2/3 but I feel like this is how it will play out.

lol, this made my day.

WTF with the convo, guys, it's a show. Just enjoy the ride. I personally think the show is realistic enough (refugees crisis is huge in the news right now in Europe etc...) that I enjoy it but I certainly wouldn't quote the show as a documentary. I think the artists who did the graffitis are wrong. You don't accept money from racist. But what do I know, artists are gonna art.

My impression is the same, she is definitely involved in attempting to kill Carrie and Quinn based on the last phone call. I doubt she is involved in the plane explosion but who knows who is up to what at this point.

really liking this season so far, I don't care what anyone says besides season three this show is really good, or if not good, really entertaining imo. As annoying as Carrie can be she is very well acted and definitely an interesting character, sol is solid, obv Quinn is an amazing character, they generally do pretty well with the side characters or season long bad guys. I think the dialogue is always pretty solid, and most importantly it's never really predictable, at least to me.

The type of person that religiously watches a show like this through 5 seasons then comes into this thread to criticize its "realisticness" after every episode should go find the nearest bridge and jump off it.
