I just caught up, and boy oh boy was that a treat - just what I wanted - nearly a full episode of Frannie drama - finally!!!

Can't wait to see how they top themselves next week! Maybe Frannie misses mommy and sneaks onto the plane and interrupts the mission?! Is that too much to ask for?!?! Homeland, don't let me down now!!!

Clare Danes is very good, the cast as a whole is good, the theme although seen 1000 times already has a lot of entertainment potential, it really sucks that they're butchering the writing SO bad.

As do I, but that said it can be really enjoyable and still be really easy/fun to criticize.

Seriously this, How good would this show be if they found a less nauseating substitute for the 100 hours they've spent on her Bipolarism, being a parent, fights with her sister/dad.

Lotta lol still going on though. For one, lol at bringing back Dar Adal just for that small bit of super-obvious advice. Maybe next ep he'll get the same Saul deal and become the new NSA temporarily in a Saul-Adal confrontation, but c'mon, couldn't they have done something with him earlier in the season?

You're right! I was hoping she was a stowaway on the plane and Carrie brought her on the mission and she was the one who convinced Simone to come due to her cuteness, but alas, I will have to wait for the next episode for them to give me my much-needed massive Frannie dosage!

I'm still confused by one thing, they take the russian general's money, tell him he gets it back if he gets simone for them, he goes to get simone, and then they sneak in and get her first? Why not just let the general's thugs get her and bring her to the airport?

I was wondering that as well, but I think Carrie was legit worried that Yevgeny might kill Simone. Or escape with her, or risk her getting killed in a firefight, or whatever. They just want control over Simone ASAP.

Or it's just Homeland being Homeland.
