Just finished episode 8, the thanksgiving episode where we see the new actor revealed in The Grinder: New Orleans. Dean gets up and leaves the room, then Stewart says something like "ollvart could be good though?!" and his wife is like "stop it!" and the kids are like "daaad!! :O"

what was the line? listened back a few times and couldn't make it out.

I'm just worried this show takes itself too seriously sometimes.

The scenes with the girl and dean's bitchboy this week were gold

Rob Lowes facial expressions in the scene where Mitch first goes to Deans office to discuss a settlement was great, he had about 5-6 emotions in about a 1 sec time period. It's hilarious that dean really loves his brother and his family and wants to be apart of it.

"Our daughter is either a major genius that all this stuff goes way over my head, or she is a raving sociopath; it's one of those two things, I narrowed it down."

The scenes with the woman and Deans fanboy where great. I would love to try to achieve and maintain and erection with you.

The fact that Dean and his brother both really do love each other is the bedrock that makes the whole show work.

Finally caught up on the new episodes, and the only thing worse about it is the ratings. How the eff is this genius show so far below the radar? Can't say enough great things about Savage's performance. Claire shutting down Todd was A+ in the last episode.

A funny "parallel" in the Olyphant in the Room episode was that the reporter was killing Dean in his notes, but if you put Olyphant's name there instead of Dean, it makes just as much sense when thinking about him as Raylan vs. this guy. He just came off one of the top 5 dramas, and went to one of the top 5 comedies on TV. The fact that he's playing himself as a completely needy dimwit is just unreal. I hope we haven't seen the last of him.

This past episode is the one that got me over the hump to say this show is awesome!

Mock trial was great.

I like New Girl and Brooklyn 99 a lot but I lol so much more at the Grinder, it's not even close. When it comes down to it, that's the #1 criterion for a great comedy.

I am a relatively sullen, "90% of TV is crap" type guy who loathes sitcoms but I love this show.

I assume odds are it gets cancelled.

I love finding shows like this where lightweight actors, or at least ones that I pictured in my head as lightweights, show actual talent. Not sure why I enjoy being wrong in this way but there you go.

I like that the real judge is also presiding over the mock trial.

Did some quick googling to see what prognosis is for renewal. Not good at all, ratings aren't great and have mostly declined since pilot.

While this happens greatest superbowl commercials pulls 2.1 or whatever.

THIS IS WHY WE CAN'T HAVE NICE THINGS.

Maybe Netflix could pick it up or something, if it does get cancelled.
