This type of comedy isn't for everyone, but for those who like this type of comedy it's completely elite. And those people who don't like it are probably stupid anyway, surfing the internet on their smarty phones while watching it. It demands full attention to understand its greatness.

I'm not quite ready to go there, but thats mostly because I can't remember them all at the moment. But its on its way easily. It knows itself so well that its hard to imagine it dropping off too soon.

I'll be interested to see how it does on the new Tuesday night lineup, but I don't feel good about its prospects for renewal even as great as it is. And I'm also very worried about B99 moving to that slot.

Feel like Netflix or someone would have to buy the rights if fox doesn't renew
It's too good

Hulu is maybe a good candidate after what they did for The Mindy Project. TMP probably had a slightly higher budget than The Grinder, so it seems doable.

Not impressed after first ep. Will watch the next two today. I think the actors are really good but everything else is meh. I'm not a fan of sitcoms though, just thought I'd check this out because someone even hyped it in the Fargo thread.

I really wanna believe this show is so incredibly good that word-of-mouth and reviews will help it find an audience by the end of this season.

Eps 2-3 were a lot better than the pilot imo. Will keep watching

I don't see this show ever being hugely popular, just because it lacks the hit-you-over-the-head type humor that Joe Sixpack requires. However, I think it could develop a niche audience that's big enough to keep it afloat for awhile, a la Community. It probably needs to be sandwiched between two already successful shows for that to happen though.

One of my favorite subtle and kind of cruel jokes the show did which was kind of like a sledgehammer was in the best episode. At the beginning in The Grinder TV show, Mitch is giving props to the deaf and blind guy in the courtroom. Then, at the end of the episode we see that character's name is a real life dedication...to the boom operator...lol...so cold.

I'm three episodes in and I'm still not sure if this is a wind up.

Really enjoying the show, glad it got mentioned in the Fargo thread.

I love the actual Grinder episodes that play at the beginning, and absolutely love how Savage is always working on something but looks up in disgust. My absolute favorite is ep7 during Buckinham Malice after grinder reveals himself as the lawyer who just got the defendant declared guilty on two counts of public tomfoolery. The look Savage gives, even though it's just a half second, is just so perfect.

A lot of little things that I love as well like the wife mouthing "sophmore overnight fieldtrip" in episode 3 at breakfast as Savage starts to go off.

Ok, I am converted. Having watched them all I've found the show to be quite elite. (y)
