I saw the last episode and think the show is funny.

Fred Savage is absolutely killing it. If the show survives I think an Emmy nomination may be in his future.

Did you catch the Office Space homage? Right after Devane told Todd that he needed to move his office, the very next scene Dean comes in and offers Claire a stapler.

"So glad someone finally put those phonies in their place...So, I hear you're Dean's brother?"
(paraphrasing may be inaccurate at best)

Agree about Savage. This show really shouldn't work on any level, but it works on all of them.

Full season order! It appears someone at the network likes the show too.

The Grinder has been picked up for a full season. So prepare yourself for 44 episodes of television.

If this show gets canceled from FOX, I think it has a shot to move to FXX for season 2.

Most laughs in an ep for me so far. Amazing from start to finish, feel bad for people not watching. The Dad's love for Dean will never stop killing me.

I'd have to give it a thought, but calling it now: best new comedy of the year. All parts played perfectly and they make a potentially gimmicky show great. I just hope the show survives and grinds for many seasons.

amazing episode. Every character's bit was on point--especially Savage, Dad, Stevie and Son---the Shadow Boys thing was pure brilliance---great payoff too.

Also good Coop guest spot.

That was by far my favorite episode. It perfectly illustrated the greatness of this show, and what it's all about. Rob Lowe's melodramatic performance just wouldn't be as good if it were less melodramatic. Not that any of you would know anything about that...would you?

Dimmer payoff was awesome, and loved the "who should we sue?" with Claire's "none of them?" was perfect.

great waitress though

Yeah, that episode only barely worked. It went for the weakest parts of the story, and proved to itself that it can't deny itself.
