Lots of shows introduce new villains during season finales to get people excited for next season. It's pretty common.

My main concern with this show is that they give Bruce so much airtime, that it feels like they are building it as a prologue to the batman movies(up to the -94 one or first Nolan whatevs) similar to Smallville -> Superman but the problem to me is that they start way to "early". It is gonna be a gazilion seasons of random villain-eps and running the Bruce story into the ground by repeating/spoonfeeding. Only safe way to end this show is to have it build up to when Bruce becomes Batman similar to Smallville, Clark Kent could only be a teen for so many years, so when he started working ... DONE! Batman got over 10 years until he joins the league of shadows. It bothers me a lot that they build it to be possibly never-ending instead of having a endgame fairly soonish and able to postpone it by making seasons not having any time apart, I guess they could work the other way around but that forces them to switch actors.

Yea everyone else feels the same way but as been's said, I don't think they're going to go anywhere with Bruce - he's just there to provide material for Jim

oh well, I kinda enjoy the show fwiw, I just hope they put alfred and bruce on the backpedal.... by alot and this show can really start to kick some ass. More giving a cool nod like they have been doing with the other characters. If we are gonna keep having bruce around they could introduce a few league of shadows villains.

yeah trying to convince me that batista is italian is right up there with trying to convince me that jada pinkett is an actress on the list of crimes that keep this show from being actually good.

It will seem funny when Joker/Scarecrow/Freeze/Penguin/Zasz and others are introduced and we can look back at how mad Bruce was at goddamn balloonman.

They wont skip ahead unless its a desperate attempt to not be cancelled. They have said before this isnt a batman show, its just a show that has Bruce Wayne in it.
