Yep, how fake was that lump of steel falling on the car...

Can anyone fill me in on why Fred is not in the last 2 shows. Being down under here in Australia maybe I we are a bit slow on hearing the gossip.

What a lame duck Bering Sea Gold show last night. Hardly worth watching..cheers

Fred Says:

Hello Fans.....a few thoughts on tonight's epilog feature.
You may have noticed none of my crew was shown on the epilog tonight. No coincidence....I refused to participate in the filming in Oregon. This was filmed only 6 weeks after the infamous twisted Episode 1 of Gold Rush. I was having some very serious "discussions" with the film crew, and the network people. Having been bitten twice by the film crew, and the Network people, I declined to participate in the Oregon filming. After seeing all the dirty laundry aired on tonight's program, I certainly did the right thing.
DC has been doing the right thing lately by sending me to "Meet and Greet" shows. It's great Public Relations for them, and me.
I will be mining Porcupine Creek this season. There's a good chance I'll also be doing some "How To Mine Gold, Small scale and Large scale" along with the other filming. Mining can get boring when all goes well, so we'll probably throw in some interesting things you would love to do if you had a chance to do them......fishing, hunting with a camera, exploring, visit other mine sites, talk to unusual people,....all the adventures I've experienced in Alaska over the years.
I'll keep you posted..................Freddie

The Discovery channel sent the Hoffman's to Fred's camp and everyone already knew they had no right ot the claim anymore.

It was all a big setup.

Hoffman's are pretty disgusting people.

Steve and Emily Reidel from Bering Sea Gold need to get their own dredge and call up Harness from Gold Rush and get him up there to help. That'd be some pretty awesome TV.

You have a point, but there's no "1st Class" hotels in northern Yukon, let alone in any city or town in the Yukon.

You forgot about Dorsey.

Now that would be good TV.

Anyone else watching this Guyana nonsense? I don't recall any of them carrying that sluice box or even those buckets through the jungle. The filmed this out in back of the hotel IMO.

Ive been to Dawson city. I worked there for two years and its quite the ****ed up little town. Tonnes of drunks, they have signs in the washrooms warning of STD's with bowls of condoms. Huge STD problem up there. There is a bar where you can have their infamous drink "the sour toe". They basically have a human toe in a drink and you suck er back.

The actual town is about the size of three football fields and to cross the yukon river you have to get on a small ferry.

The weed is really good and so are the shrooms.

All in all it's a party town...well in the summer anyways. In the winter it's pretty damn close to 24 hours of darkness.

The people are super friendly, gas prices and groceries are crazy expensive. When they showed the guys in Dawson city a few times I can confirm it actually is Dawson. There is an episode of one workers talking on a pay phone, I actually used that exact phone before. Saying all that, the show is obv scripted.

Yeah - I think it's a one-time special. They didn't find enough gold to make it worth the trouble of carting all the equipment through the jungle.

However, I didn't stick it out all the way through the hour-long "After the Rush" show when Todd was supposed to make his big announcement about whether they would mine in the jungle. The episode was bad enough - basically Todd talking to people from guayana, the crew riding atv's on dirt roads and boats on muddy rivers, and the crew members getting mad and almost leaving.

Oh yeah - and despite all the talk, there were no mutherfokking snakes on this mutherfokking show.

The rule is it has to at least touch your lips so really its not that bad. Some people (not many but I did) took the entire toe in my mouth. I started to chew on it but the nail really ****ed me up so it was gross I guess. If it wasnt for the nail, I coulda chewed that bad boy and swallowed it.

"Next" season of Bering Sea Gold just started on DSC. This is called BSG: Under the Ice.

Pretty interesting, they are all diving under the ice and sucking up the dirt as they did last season. Much more dangerous than the last set of episodes. Will watch the whole series

I hate this type of thinking, no offense. Guy was a complete jack ass and shouldn't be rewarded for it. So glad he is not on. Hope he is in jail where he belongs.
