I can't imagine ever rewatching another season of Lasso outside of S1. That's typically how I know something is great.

You guys would actually watch s2 and s3 again? Maybe the one beard episode by itself.

I imagine I'll rewatch Ted Lasso in 5-10 years, yeah. The most recent episode feels like it adds a bunch of rewatchability to the series since it was very effective in laying out character motivations.

Yeah, the mom episode of Lasso was great. The actresses playing the moms were fantastic.

Barry finale was well done. It lost steam over the last two seasons but it wrapped it up nicely. NoHo Hank and Fuchs were fantastic characters.

its decent but as far as average rated shows, its not even close to the peripheral. If it doesnt get better i wont be watching s2.

Silo ep1,ep2 are dull. Just skip to Ep3 which is surprisingly tense and exciting. But I might just cash my chips after that.

This is from Reelgood's website, they just added this week where you can see how many people rated it and what % of Loved, Liked and Disliked, also added reviews. Very cool feature and it auto populates the IMDB and shows the Reelgood score which is 8.2 and 78/100 respectively.

A lot of people seem to like it. Usually from the pic below, when a show has very few dislikes and the Love is much greater than the Like, it's pretty solid. Maybe it will finish strong. lol

Watched the first two episodes of Foundation, on Apple+.

This was damn good and quite an impressive production. Looking forward to more.

Haven't gotten to that one yet, but Jared Harris really has to be one of the most reliable actors in existence when it comes to exclusively playing in high-quality stuff (and obviously being a part of why it's high-quality).

Silo needs an adrenaline shot. And it needs to stop killing off characters we're just getting to know.

I read the books years ago and enjoyed them, but the books started off as a short story, which is why the beginning is a bit...
Spoiler:
frivolous with keeping its core characters alive I guess

So far the show is following pretty closely to the book from what I remember. The story will go in some interesting directions over time, I'm sticking with it for sure, but it's always a different experience when you know the source material. When I was reading it, I always thought it would be great as a TV series and I'm not yet disappointed at all fwiw

When it came out, there were definitely a subset of people who loved it. The books were great, so there's some disappointment in the reviews. That's the most positive case I can make for it, notice I didn't actually discuss the show.

Anyone watch Fox's "Stars on Mars"? I'm not brave enough. It has to be a huge dumpster fire right? Odds that it doesn't make it to the end of the season?

I am intrigued with William Shatner being on it.

Yea, it pretty much sucks as expected. The funniest part was Ariel Winter showing that she may have had a brain reduction along with her boob reduction several years back, when she kept going on and on about how cool it was to have real life astronaut Lance Armstrong there. lol

Reality shows never get cancelled without finishing the first season do they? I guess this is scheduled for 12 episodes.

Anyone else current on the Silo?

One of those shows where if you do yourselves the kindness of not asking how it can all possibly work, it's not bad. Uneven though. But decently fun.

Probably survives on the merit of a few pretty good actors.

The Love Boat reality show got killed off early. I was impressed, it deserved to be killed but they did indeed just leave everything hanging.
