we own this city's setting is very interesting. My wife hated it so it will be elite tier. Just some good old big brain porn.

No spoliers but I felt the ending ruined the entire series, seriously. Plus again without spoilers but it starts getting just plain stupid anyway with serious suspension of disbelief required. After the finale, I'm kinda regretting watching it at all. Just a huge letdown to what was overall a really solid show.

I also thought the first half of the season was bad. May not watch the second half.

The Offer on Paramount+ dropped the first 3 episodes. Episode one was slow to start but I was pretty invested at the end of Ep1 and watched all 3 episodes. IMD of 8.3 but RT of 43% hehe.

Shining Girls on Apple TV also dropped 3 episodes. I really liked this. It is strange in a good way. I had watched the trailers and was excited for it but I didn't know about the bold part in the synopsis quote so that came as a real shocking twist to me. Only 6.7 on IMDB but a 82% on RT so far.

I have tried Ep1 of that twice now and still haven't been able to finish an episode for some reason. Maybe it's just cuz I (and my ADHD) get distracted by all the other new stuff that has been dropping. It has a 6.8 on IMDB and a 94%! on RT so I guess I need to give it another proper chance and at least watch a couple episodes.

Not gonna post in the Barry thread for fear of spoilers but I've had to start over because I realized I forgot so much of what happened in both seasons. On like episode 5 and boy is it fun.

Killing it - the further you go into it, the better it gets.

Really loved the season ending. Definitely some 99 vibes and always love the crazy guy from "The Mick" which is top 10 all time comedy IMO.

First two episodes of Under the Banner of Heaven were promising. I read the book years ago and frankly forgot a lot

finished Ozark not sure how i feel i mean i enjoyed seasons 1-3 and from what i rememeber i also thought first half of season 4 was good, i think splitting it up the way they did trying to build up the anticiaption made it worse, because by the time it ended you just didnt really care what happens you just wanted it over.

Spoiler:
Spoiler:
I think john boy walton in it for that long also ruined it, i think the whole private eye brother bit was too long winded, i mean if he got to the cafe where she took the brother and just watched the tape he would have seen the brother getting in passenger side of the vehicle. They dragged it out til he saw the henchman at the byrdes house to put 2 and 2 together (bull$h1T)

all in all i give ozark a 7/10 maybe 6.5/10 - Bateman was really good and so was Garner, Linney (the wife) was good too except annoying as hell. (especially if married to her lol)

I’m 5 into the first season and it’s gotten way better. I had no idea what it was about, just that she was in it and that was enough lol

I'll give made for love a shot. Never watched her cbs sitcom, but liked her in Palm Springs, Fargo and her 30 rock episode.

brother randomly put it on because hbo said to watch it when he opened the app and both went in blind

a few minutes into it i was thinking "oh this must be some weird art film where there's no real plot just a series of absurdist visual events"

and then later it's no, there actually is a plot here but we're just going to have get there eventually

agree 100% with your asessment, ended first episode still having no idea what's going on other than the she is easy on the eyes, is doing a great job acting as a person in over their head and ray romano is his 10 seconds of screen time is phenomenal so i'll definitely give it a few more episodes for what appears to be a very slow burn

I recall seeing a lot of ads for this and I guess I'm like two and a half years behind but I finally watched The Loudest Voice and I really enjoyed it. Tremendous performance by Russell Crowe.

I finally gave Ep1 a proper try and liked it. After Ep2 I was hooked. I binged all 8 eps of Se1, and the first 2 eps of Se2 yesterday evening. Season 2 starts off a bit weird, but so id Se1 so I am eager for the rest of Se2.

Two CNN series I caught last night. Both food-oriented travel shows.

Searching for Italy with Stanley Tucci. Believe this is the second season. He goes around to different areas to learn about their regional food and talk with local chefs and people.

Nomad with Carlton McCoy. Similar thing, though he's going to different places all around the world. First episode he was in the Paris suburbs.

I'm not a foodie, but I found the parts where they're discussing the local culture over a meal interesting.

I'd say worth a watch to see if you like if you're into food or travel shows.

Really don't know where they're going to go for the last 2 episodes of Outer Range

Spoiler:
They can go full Lost/time travel on us. They can just focus on the case now. I really don't know

Moon Knight is finally over! Woo Hoo! Bust out the champagne. Will never have to endure another episode again! Can't think of a more excruciating show to watch in recent times.

Severance Started slow mainly because you had no idea what was going on but it was still intriguing. Episodes 7 and 8 were great and the finale (ep9) was in the god tier of tv episodes.

IMO it's like nationa treasure/Davinci code level of nonsense plot.

Its not awful but about my least favorite thing Oscar Isaac has ever been in.
