No joke, I canceled paramount 2 days into my week long free trial. All the old er classic stuff worth watching there is available in other places. The newer stuff obviously sucks.

doesn't help that their interface is so terrible it makes HBOmax seem downright well made.

Paramount had Dexter in Australia. Not sure if it did in the USA.

just finished Ozark s4. It wasn't great, but I wasn't not going to watch it. Glad it was only 7 eps.

Is it just me or did Euphoria finally deliver its first good episode? (S2E5) I thought it was fantastic.

Yes, it was the best so far.

If it takes that long for Euphoria to get good, guess I won't be watching.

Yeah, that seems like a really strange comment. Why would you watch a show for a season and four episodes if none of them were good?

S2 E5 was great but all episodes before it were good IMO. The show (all ep's) is definitely worth a watch IMO. And LOL at the 'news' articles I saw a few weeks ago saying it glamorizes drug use. If you think that is glamorous you are too far gone/left to help.

There are plenty of good episodes, the latest was really good though. And yea, Boobs.

Episode ratings on IMDB are in the 8's to 9's for all of them. The latest episode was 9.6 rating.

Zendaya is amazing, the cinematography is often top-notch, and it's a glorious mess. And yeah, boobs.

But I don't think it's had what you could call a coherent plot yet this season, and S1 was all fireworks and no plot as well. The writing has been terrible pretty much throughout the show, hence "first good episode".

S2E5 tho was shockingly good. You could even watch it as a standalone episode without having watched any of the previous ones. Zendaya is crazy talented.

Yeah, the main reason I decided to watch the show was because of S02E05. And it was worth it. Especially the first 15 minutes.

Overall, I dig it enough to keep watching for now. It’s stylistically interesting even when it borders on stupid, which is often. I do wonder if the makeup artists get paid for how much they use because it annoys me far more than it should and I don’t know why lol

I’m curious how much further they’re going with Rue’s spiral. You’d think she bottomed out and the rest of the season is how it get fixed, but a big portion of this show is “going there” so she may another step or two to fall.

Binged this, I thought the latest season was pretty awful. Good news - that's only part one of s4!
Spoiler:
Everybody is so ****ing stupid and over the top it's hard to watch. Some of my favourite shows have parts where I've had to suspend belief over characters and their actions but my god.
- 'I just need a signature' guy
- Keeping Darlene around for as long as they did
- Ruth saying 'I have no family' - is Three the most pointless character to ever exist?
- Cosgrove Sr going over to Darlene's just to yell at her when he knows she's completely unstable and deranged - she shot his son's dick off!
- Jonah fast becoming that shitty annoying kid they have in every TV show that just hates their parents (I mean, it's justifiable but it's bad to watch)
- Wyatt recognising how utterly insane Darlene is but is willing to marry her so this incredibly insane woman can keep her child
- Wendy acting like a selfish lunatic, but at least everyone pointed that out in the show

I can't decide if Inventing Anna is the worst thing ever, a train wreck I can't take my eyes off or actually mildly decent. I know nothing about the real story though.

4 in it honestly gets better. It is so absurd though but the real life story I guess is absurd.

The first few minutes of the first episode is some of the worst **** ever. But if you can make through that, it’s well worth the time!
