what i don't like about Barry is that they portray the cops as the bad guys.

I didn't get that read. The black chick or crying cop definitely weren't written that way. They're just being cops.

Again, Barry best show on TV. Probably will crack my top 10 of all time after the next two seasons.

Spoiler:
Cops are mostly C grade high school students pieces of ****, who retire with a huge pension in their 50s who love the opportunity to rough someone up.

are you ****ing kidding me?!?!?! bad guys?!?!? they are portrayed as heroes! like always!

the lady cop who is after barry... if it was real life she would be raping henry winkler, and all the kids in the acting class. she would be shooting and beating all black people, and getting a paycheck from jeff bezos.

real cops are bullies with guns, paid for by our oppressors! their job is to protct the rich from the poor. to keep rich people rich, and poor people poor. they murder, rape, steal

For me, it’s Terriers and Deadwood. I’d toss Luck in there too. Season 1 was great and it was awful to see Milch screwed a 2nd time!

oh yeah! luck! that was really painful. and my friend was on that show too. i had no idea. i was so ****ing pumped when i saw him appear on screen. he hasn't been getting work lately, so it was a huge deal. he was the chinese poker player. dennis dun, best known for "big trouble in little china" with kurt russel. really a great guy

i wasn't that crazy about the dustin hoffman parts. but all the other parts of the show i LOVED

Alright, for the first time in like 20 years, I'm 7 episodes of "Bosh" away to complete my "to watch" list.

The main reason is that I've barely watched any show that started over the last 2-3 years. Those I watched are mostly miniseries or ended after a couple seasons.

So quite simply, what did start during this span of time that is really good ? Because I probably missed out on it.

I'd appreciate your thoughts on the matter !

Add Terminator: Sarah Connor Chronicles. I don't remember how good it really was, but it hurt me pretty bad at the time.

They cranked out 72 eps with some clunkers and came back a decade later. Bad choice for your list.

I liked John From Cincinatti and would have stuck with it.

John from Cincinatti +1 offbeat, didn't belong in any genre, seemed to be about the struggles of a family of professional surfers in California but turns into something deeper

I look forward to it. Last year, I thought they did a great job of covering the Chargers and Rams handling Covid.
