the great

just finished episode 6. great episode! im having a blast watching this show! but it's not gonna be for everyone.

some really great performances, and no bad performances. all the actors are solid-great. im really impressed with elle fanning. that girl can act.

probably the best actor in the show is the old priest, adam godley. he is not ****ing around. dude is legit.

It wasn't for me. I gave up in the 2nd episode.

I've got one episode left. I could never get into Buffy, but it reminds me of Veronica Mars

how far did you get into buffy? early buffy and later buffy are completely different. the first season and a half of buffy is pretty hard to watch. but if you finished season 2 and still didn't like it, then it's not for you.

I'm sold. Might be time to finally dust off my free month trial of hulu.

Anyone watch Lovecraft Country yet?

Rewatched all of Game of Thrones

Completely take back what I said before, it gets so painful in the later seasons

I think I was so excited for each episode (I watched it as it came out) that I didn’t see it accurately

The first episode was quite good, but the last night's didn't really do it for me. The tone was completely different and so much plot was packed into an hour that in the end it just felt like a bunch of disjointed scenes after one-another. Will continue watching, but if it continues like this, not sure for how long I will be interested.

I still haven't finished GoT, I thought it became terrible like 2-3 seasons before most people noticed it. The last couple of seasons have got to be complete trainwreck given how even the public opinion seems to have shifted in that direction. I think the last full season I saw was the one with Prince Oberyn and I gave up halfway during the next. Lol @ people ever including it in any listing of the best tv shows ever

The first half of the last season of Lucifer is out.

Stupid and entertaining at the same time.

Mid season finale was expected, but good.

You quit at pretty much just the right time. Season 6 is where where the quality drops a lot imho.

I think the main reason people want to rank is so highly is because it stands alone in its genre as far as serialized tv is concerned. The lord of the rings releasing next year has a shot at usurping got. I’m not aware of anything else even in production.

Looking for something on hulu, found the BBC America section. They wanted me to upgrade to some ridiculous price to see Top Gear, no thanks.

While poking around, I found the original Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, though. Watched the first episode. So far, true to the book as I recall it. Early 80s BBC, low-budget sets etc, but looks as if it's going to be fun (even though I know what's coming).

the murder mystery parts of every episode are always lolbad. it's just the heaven, hell, devil stuff that is interesting

I enjoyed this 2nd episode more than the first simply because it was so dense. The first episode started off with a bang and didn't really do a whole lot the next 40 minutes. I had to pay attention to every second of this episode.

I'm interested to see where this goes. I don't watch a ton of TV, but HBO tends to produce TV shows that I like.

Hard Knocks: Los Angeles is the best show on tv now. I am ready for some football!
The 3rd episode aired tonight.

I had to fast forward a lot of episode 1 until they got on the road, episode 2 had a lot of stuff going on. It would be funny if the episode 2 stuff just came and went and they go onto other things.

As a guy who rarely watches more than one season of a show, I want to tell everyone that I saw all five seasons of The Bureau, and it was really good.

I'm also a huge fan of The Bureau. If you haven't already, give Occupied a shot.

Norwegian political hypothetical. Netflix.

Season 1 and 2 of Cobra Kai dropped on Netflix today. I watched it before but its been awhile. Started my re-watch since there is not much on TV. Episode 1 is so good, obviously you would have to be a fan of "Karate Kid".
