Watched it w/ wife and her mom. Wife liked it fine, her mom hated it.

Ya I don't really like it. It's not bad, just very meh. Giri/Haji sounds cool. Might do that, or Outcry.

Best thing about Fleabag is it's only 25 min eps, and each season only 6 eps. I had no idea what it was going into it other than 2p2 liked it. Was pleasantly surprised to see they were shorter eps and I wasn't going to need to binge 2 full seasons. But given my thoughts after 3 eps, I'll probably stop. My wife enjoyed it. She can watch rest on her own.

Based on the hype and the amount of awards it won it's more likely I'm the crazy one. Maybe I would have liked it more if I'd watched it before all the hype, with no expectations.

I'm a week late, but The Jim Gaffigan Show was two seasons, on TV Land of all places, and was outstanding. Of course no one watched live but I think it's on Amazon, worth a look if you have it.

Had been eyeing that for a couple of weeks now, but finally decided to give Perry Mason a shot and really liked all of the episodes that are out. The church stuff gets somewhat boring at times, but the main plot was captivating enough for me to watch all five episodes in one sitting. All in all, really well crafted (the WW1 stuff in episode 2 was pretty sick) and acted. Can't wait for the last 3 episodes.

On that note, TV show/movie recommendations that have the similar neo-noir LA setting as Perry Mason and True Detective S2? I have heard of Mob City, but somewhat skeptical about getting into stuff that was canceled.

I enjoyed this show but I thought it peaked near the middle of the season. I felt like the last few episodes dragged a bit. Still worth a watch with a cool theme IMO.

HBO max doesn't let you adjust your stream quality. My **** was jumpy as hell last night and I don't care about getting 4k quality High Maintenance. Just let me get a grainy video instead of something that buffers every ten seconds.
