lol, i probably thought season 4 was weakest, and it was rated the highest

season 5 was kind of absurd. you have to suspend disbelief, and then it was a lot of fun imo

Watched a couple eps of What We Do in the Shadows . Intentionally dumb mockumentary humor is my absolute favorite but this might actually be TOO dumb, it has hilarious parts but it is just so over the top I’m having a hard time loving it like I did Flight of the Concords

Keep watching. I had similar thoughts at the beginning but it just gets better and better.

I didn't find it as funny as I thought, but I had extremely high expectations. Still a good show. I loved Mark Proksch's character and Matt Berry is always great.

I’ve been rewatching GOT and gotta say the first two seasons are nowhere near as good as I remember them, hope they start living up to how I remembered them

I started watching The Watchmen as well, 100% hooked a couple eps in

Wow. Didn't think anyone would ever rewatch that show.

I rewatched Lost recently also. I enjoyed it, but jeez, there are soooo many episodes.

I've now started watching the reality show from The History Channel, Alone. It's pretty good. They drop 10 people off in the wilderness with minimal tools/supplies and see who lasts the longest. Last man standing wins 500k. Made it through the first season in 2 days. A few episodes into S2 now. So far S2 is better, editing wise. S1 was pretty annoying in that they repeated probably the last 30 seconds that were shown before a commercial break when they returned from break. Not great when you're bingeing and your remote doesn't have a skip forward button. S2 they seemed to have learned from that mistake, I hope.

My mom got me the whole series on DVD (lol DVDs) on my birthday the year it ended because she knew how into the show I was. I never even took it out of the packaging.

It's the back story of Perry Mason before he became a lawyer.

Wait, what? People actually liked Devs? Holy crap folks. Admittedly I am only on Ep. 5, but not exactly sure what anyone is getting from this: The story doesn't so much develop, as seeps out at a torturously slow pace. And the majority of the acting is just straight-up crap: In particular the lead, as well as the blond chick, give some performances that are as wooden as anything you'll see this side of a Keanu Reeves film fest. Don't agree? Please go back and re-watch the scene from Ep. 3, with the lead and her friend in the car after she pretended to be schizophrenic. It's downright cringe-worthy.

The problem for me is, I've heard so many people complain about the ending, that I now feel perversely compelled to stick around, just to see how much worse it could possibly get after the ****-show that was the 1st 5 episodes.

ETA: Just finished another episode. I swear, if the Katie character doesn't turn out to be a fembot, then Allison Pill has absolutely no excuse for what she's done.

west wing

holy hell this show is DISGUSTING! but also good? lol! like ldo sorkin is obviously a hella talented writer. and it's a very talented cast. and it's a pleasant idea to have a govt that actually cares and is competent.

the problem is they are all a bunch of racist imperialists, or ignorant, or lying to themselves. like they have pictures of washington and roosevelt up all over the place. and both were genocidal racists.

and early on in season one jeb bartlett has to be talked down from murdering thousands of innocent families because he is mad his friend died.

you realize this is a fictional TV show, right? i suggest you direct your vitriol towards the direction of the real life examples of these types of things. unfortunately there are ample examples out there.

To me, the biggest problem of The West Wing is that its fictional representation of the US Government is less representative of reality than the fiction representation in House of Cards.
