Watched the first episode of Creepshow, two stories in one episode. The first story was utter trash, some of the worst writing I've seen on a show in awhile and the plot was lame af with meh acting and uninteresting characters to boot. Makes me sad Giancarlo Esposito has had to stoop to being on this show and a thankless role in this story. The second story was a little better but not nearly enough to save my interest in the show. Feel safe abandoning ship on this one, too bad as I think there is still plenty of opportunity for a sweet horror anthology show to emerge.

I agree, the 2nd one was decent, needed a better finish tho.
I will stick with it. Creepshow is legendary from back in the day.

The original Creepshow movie was pretty good but every other "Creepshow" movie/show has been a disappointment.

there was a recent horror anthology called Two Sentence Horror Stories that was sort of hit or miss but the hits were pretty good. worth checking out if u like that sort of thing.

my fav growing up...the intro always spooked me watching alone at night:

I don't really remember that but I always watched Creature Feature with Dr. Paul Bearer on Saturdays.

Creature Feature was great, but I always had a soft spot for Chiller:

8 eps into Upload. Super easy to watch. It's intriguing. Has funny moments, but comedy not really its forte. Bit of a mix between comedy, drama. Recommend giving it a go. Pretty easy to binge.

Question about last night's Killing Eve. I'll spoiler it:

Spoiler:
I didn't understand what Oksana (Villneve) said when the family asked her something like "what did the orphanage tell you about us?" (or maybe it was "how we died?" or something)

1 ep into Tales from the Loop

It's weird, but will continue.

Ripped through The Valhalla Murders over the weekend. Thought the first 7 episodes were good, enjoyable. Not the greatest procedural ever but worth the watch.

The last episode was comically bad though. I don’t know why these shows need to have 8 twists and turns in the reveal

Didn't know there was one. Only got turned onto this show this season by a mention in here plus seeing some of the commercials.

Thanks, Kurn, I will go there.

Upload- I thought it was great until it fizzled a bit the last few episodes. Still a very good show and an easy binge. Looking forward to season 2.

I'm two episodes in and really enjoying it. This show just screams Black Mirror to me. It's like an extended episode!

I can't imagine any Black Mirror fan not eating this show up.

meh

if you're desperate to escape your miserable existence, this show will do the trick. but it's pretty meh. some nice acting from the leads. chris evans is solid, and fairly compelling. his wife, the downton abby chick is too, but her swaying her head to the side in despair constantly starts to seem a little silly.

some decent acting from all the kids, and none of them are annoying. so that's a nice change!

if you like the murder mystery genre, you'll probably like it

I haven't seen it yet, but there is still 2 more episodes to air. That could change things in a big way for the good or bad.
