This is a really good, underrated show. Louis Anderson is magnificent.

I said at the top that this is shows that I have not finished or never started. There are a ton of great shows not on this list because I already finished them.

Also, if you remember from the Top 10 of the decade thread. Nobody rated that show as high as you. lol
I did watch about 80% of it and the finale, so AFAIC I finished it.

By the way, the Quibi website was showing that you need to sign up by the end of this month to get the 90 day free trial.

I signed up a few weeks back but was waited till enough stuff fully dropped to start watching so I could binge.

There is a bunch of content fully dropped now, started watching 50 states of Fright and its good, Most Dangerous Game should be good also. There are a bunch of other shows and a bunch of daily quick bite shows, The newest is a Rotten Tomatoes 6 min. bite daily that reviews 3 shows, pretty cool.

Obviously take the $7/mo option for commercial free. You can cancel within 90 days anyway. I will probably keep it, looks like they are adding quite a bit often.

Not bad at all watching on Ipad and they say they are now working on getting it were you can stream on TV.

i really enjoyed it. wasnt interesting or thought provoking but just a good show.

homeland series finale was a 10 for me, my friend said it was cheesy and a 6.3.

but i thought it was perfect.

Is there a thread for Money Heist? I know I'm late to the party, just watching it now.

S1-S2 the closest comparison I can come up with would be peak (or at least almost peak) 24. Very fun to watch with a lot of clever twists.

S3 so far (I'm about halfway through) a complete abortion. You can tell they hired a bunch of Netflix dolts to Americanize the show, as a result of which all the tension is gone.

Devs was fantastic right up until the last episode which was... very bad? Incredibly bad. So bad it ruined the show?

I'm not sure why it's not getting laughed at but it absolutely pulls all of its punches, the whole show is hinting at these big reveals that just fall totally flat.

It has the gorgeous cinematography and extraordinary score that you've come to expect with Garland but it makes the way Sunshine fell apart in its last act look like a tightly plotted masterpiece.

It was originally broadcast in SD but they shot it on film so they were able to remaster it to HD and a lot of shows in that era shot for 16:9 and 4:3 at the same time.

Man, I was kinda excited to watch Devs, but Fly and RBK have similar TV tastes to mine, so I'm sure I will hate the finale which makes me hesitant to watch it at all.

It's still worth watching just for the cinematography. If you temper your expectations I think you'll enjoy it. I agree with the others that the ending fell flat and knocked it down from being a potentially great show to just a good one.

Plot Against America was meh. Glad it was only six eps. Not fast moving or suspenseful enough.

Really? I was glued to the screen almost the entire time. *shrug*

I don't regret watching it and I'll watch s2, but didn't find it great.

I think that was it. Material doesn't seem to provide enough for a second season. While it did seem to build up to something, my biggest issue was that as soon as it did, it seemed to end rather abruptly. Maybe the last few episodes should have been more drawn out.

I always want these alternate history shows to just keep going until they reach present day in a completely different state than where we're at.

For All Mankind - I hope the show keeps going and space development continues and the show is about a much more space faring world.

Of course if these shows are progressing through multiple decades, they'll need to develop new characters and hire a different set of actors.

Taken was a pretty cool mini-series and it progressed through 3 generations iirc. It's been many years since I saw it.

I really liked Taken for the first two generations of characters. But, I thought it ended weak.

It's worth a watch.
