Idk I loved The Outsider and it seems to get good reviews too? Surprised to hear a lot of negative things about it. I mean it wasn’t flawless but for a tv horror series I would say it was something like 8/10 or 9/10 to me. I am a sucker for slow burn detective stuff tho so maybe that is part of it.
The last couple curbs have been elite. Leon has been absolutely on fire: “Yo do anchovies only go on pizza? Or can you eat em loose”
I just started Deadwood. I’m a huge western movie fan and have literally seen em all but for some reason never was sold on this. After reading nothing but good things I decided to dive into it. One episode in and I’m hooked.
The Outsider is just a straightforward show, no twists and the villian doesnt have crazy power to have an epic final showdown. A lot of horror movies seem to have elaborate and ridiculous endings that I dont like but then when I watch a show that is basic I feel underwhelmed. I enjoyed it and didnt think i wasted my time but no need to rewatch down the road.
Better and scarier than any horror movie I’ve seen in years ainec
Agreed. I don't get the hate at all.

I am so jealous. Wish I could see it again for the first time. Flawless TV, cocksucka!
New season of Neil Degrasse Tyson's Cosmos starts on Monday at 8pm on the National Geographic channel.
I'm sad it's not on Fox but hey at least it's on TV.
I'm glad to see it finally released, but this sucks that they're basically burying it by just quietly dumping two episodes a week on NatGeo instead giving it the big network promotion that the previous season got. I'm squarely in the target demographic for it and have even been occasionally googling for when it would come out, yet this post is the first I'm hearing of it actually getting a release date. Such a shame given all the excitement last time about having a real science show on primetime network TV.
I have not yet seen it but read the book. Judging by the stellar imdb score, that's not to be missed.
I binged all but one episode last night, so safe to say that I enjoyed it overall.
There are some really weird/bad scenes in the begining, though I do think that tapers off as the season goes on. It does that forward and backwards in time stuff that seems rampant right now, where they don't tell you and you just have to work it out logically, and I think that is way played out. Also has to be done well. Oddly enough, after the first couple episodes it just plays the same timeline from different perspectives and let's you know when it switches. Also, I think Dane dehaan sucks. I've only seen him in this and Valerian, but he has the charisma of a potato. He has one of the worst anger outbursts I've ever seen as far as acting goes.
Anyways, it's interesting and has a solid plot to work with. Looking forward to finishing it tonight, despite my issues with it.
Does anyone have any thoughts on Dispatches from Elsewhere?
I only watched a few minutes of episode 1 last week and wasn't very interested. Episode 2 was tonight.
Liking Devs a lot, great how quick the reveals are, I can imagine a different version of this show where we would know less after two seasons than we already do after two eps
Dave (lil’dicky) grew up in Philly. One of my good friends went to HS with him. She claims Lil dicky at the time had a crush on her. I think he’s alright, but not my favorite rapper.

As Mr. Mike Jones said, back then they didn't want me now I'm hot they're all on me.
I had no intention of watching “Dave” till this thread and in 1 day I watched all of the eps and watched pretty much all his music vids and freestyle appearances I could find. Guy is ****ing awesome!!
In addition, after the 2016 election of Donald Trump to the US Presidency, reviewers noted the presence in The Plot Against America of a character strongly based on the real Trump. The cousin, Alvin, goes to work for a Jewish real-estate developer whose description closely matches Trump.[11] Roth was interviewed in The New Yorker about similarities between his novel and the election of Trump. Roth responded, "It is easier to comprehend the election of an imaginary President like Charles Lindbergh than an actual President like Donald Trump. Lindbergh, despite his Nazi sympathies and racist proclivities, was a great aviation hero ... Trump is just a con artist."
Looking for some good shows to watch during Corona that aren't too heavy or too black to watch but aren't crap.
Can be both sit com & drama.
Need some light-hearted **** with all this corona crap.
Some of my favorite shows that fit under this category are
Parks & Rec
The Mandalorian
Community
The Good Wife
Entourage (when it was good)
The Marvelous Ms Maisel
Banshee (I guess this is subjective, but for me this is just a ridiculous amazing show)
