Netflix is now streaming a bunch of Saturday Night Live eps, but be warned: They're the chopped-for-syndication versions with no musical guests.

Discovered this when I watched the Courteney Cox ep from S20 (with the awesome monologue with Sandler as Springsteen) and the monologue was missing. **** that.

Tbh ive not seen most of those shows, but Walking Dead clearly shouldnt be on there and 30Rock is at best the third best of the NBC comedies (dont watch US Office, Outsourced or anything else on another night).

I just finished Deadwood a week or so ago. I flipped a coin to decide whether to watch Deadwood or SFU first.

So far I watched the pilot of SFU, hope it's as good as everyone says.

Finished S2 of Skins.

The first reason was really fun (for a kinda bad show, but bad in all the right ways).

The second season just rapes all the characters, resolves terribly and I wish I had never seen it so I could just hold with the memory of the S1 finale.

Are you watching the new season? IMO, its the best season yet. Pretty amazing for a 7th season to be this good. There's at least three lines an episode that just absolutely kill me.

Storage Wars is kinda entertaining so far. It's three episodes in on A&E, but they've been replaying the first two on The History Channel. I'm looking forward to the blonde bitch getting dumped or killed by the midget on stilts falling on her.

Awesome and Awesome, Hey now!

On a related note I just started re-watching The Garry Shandling show and the The Graduate tribute episode from season 1 is amazing, must see for any fan of the movie.

This is the theme to Gary's show , the opening theme to Gary's show, this is the music that you hear as you watch the credits!

Terriers is probably the best new thing you missed. Treme 2nd best.

I think so, but others might disagree. Both are very good.

Hmmmm what's the basic premise of Terriers? Haven't seen anything but a few commercials and they didn't really grab me.

Two flawed private detectives try to do good stuff. Sometimes they succeed.

It takes a few eps to really get into the characters but it is very much worth it.

Need to find a show that I can watch the last hour of my grind and while browsing a bit for like an hour after my last session before I go to bed. This is pretty much how I watched SoA and it was a perfect show for it.(another example would be Walking dead eventhough that show sucks it was still fun/worth watching on some level)
Any recommendations, I'm bad at multitasking so need something that is worth watching and not good enough to watch on its own (I got MM/BB/the wire on my list for that).
Dexter? Terriers?(liked the pilot)
Is generation Kill something that needs a lot of focus? Spartacus worth watching? Am I overrating BB/MM maybe so I can just watch that on the side?

Figured True Blood isn't a 'must watch' so wanted to skip that show but I'm open for it bc the introclip rocks

Terriers is my favorite; if we're talking the full calendar year 2010, I'd add Louie and Archer in the better new shows as well.

I wouldn't waste Generation Kill as background noise, it's excellent. I'm partial to reruns of good shows that I've seen many times (like AD, or Seinfeld, or The West Wing) so when I get busy I know what's happening or what I missed. Shows like Monk and Psych are great for me too, they fit into that "good enough to watch but hard to make time for" category, Damages as well.

So, I've been watching Criminal Minds, pretty much from the start. I used to think it was a pretty good show when Mandy Patinkin was on it but I think it's been pretty bad, overall, since he left.

Was it a good show back then or did was I just really good at suspending disbelief when he was on it cuz I like him a lot?
