Wow thanks for posting this, I had never known about that video and just watched it. Cool reading how most of the actors and production people came back for that.

The show is highly enjoyable. It's exactly what you expect it to be but takes it to the next level.

Interesting. So, are you still watching?

Just wow at the latest ep. No matter how it ends, what a ride thus far.

I'm in for the whole thing, but I don't know they needed to make it 6 episodes. The second episode kind of dragged on.

Oh man. There were some terrible scenes. The older ladies and the brother in law that kinda looked and sounded like Robert durst. It did drag at parts.

A mix of crap weather here and having food poisoning means I've binge watched a bunch of comedy recently.

Vice Principals - Good fun comedy. Goggins is amazing as usual. I still can't tell if I love or hate Danny McBride, who, as usual, plays himself.

PEN15 - Comedy about two girls starting middle school and the awkwardness of being a teenager. I really enjoyed it and it brought back a lot of nostalgia as it's set in the 90's when I was their age. Deals with a lot of ten issues and doesn't hold back.

End of the F-ing World S2 - Really good show but I only watched half the season then needed a break as the girl yelling all the time and being a ***** was tilting me. Great soundtrack too.

Mr Inbetween S2 - Great v.dark Aussie crime comedy/drama. Lots of good characters and very easy to watch.

The Righteous Gemstones - Currently on this. Comedy about a family of Evangelical megachurch preachers. Seems decent so far, although I feel it's more carried by the great cast than the writing. Stars include John Goodman (Dad), Adam DeVine (Son), Danny McBride (Danny McBride), Edi Patterson (Daughter).

If you like Pen15, I highly recommend Eighth Grade

Also watched Escape from Dannemora. I can see why it was so acclaimed, but just a little too slow paced for me, honestly felt it could have been done in a 2-3 hour movie. Also testament to Del Toro's acting skills, that he's a top A-list actor while making half his lines impossible to hear/understand.

I didn't finish the last one and got bored by previous couple episodes.
But tbh I hate supernatural setups that would have made a better story without That bullshit. Lost would have been so much better with character development of a group crashed on an island. The cast was outstanding and characters flashback made a great show. Smoke monster and polar bears killed the show pretty fast for me. The outsider is lost 2.0 for me. I might be wrong and it could finish OK but odds that kings found a decent ending are super low.

I never really watched but a random episode here and there, but this latest season I watched several episodes and its pretty decent. I would never start from the beginning but its worth watching.

I’ve seen every episode. A couple of the characters are annoying here and there but overall it’s not terrible, especially for a cop show on network tv.

If you are a politics junkie (as I am), I highly recommend The Circus on Showtime. They essentially follow the candidates around the country as they run for president. It gives an entirely different, behind-the-scenes view of the race that I find very entertaining.

rewatching friday night lights. it holds up pretty well. BUT i just watched the episode where the offensive coach says racist stuff to reporters. basically he says that whites are good at quarterback because they are smarter, while african americans are better at running. this episode aired in 2007. how they handled it back in 2007 would not fly today. in 2020 saying that kind of thing is completely unacceptable. rightly so.

weird to think that just 13 years ago, so many people would just shrug off that kind of statement.

rewatching the West Wing as I listen to the West Wing Weekly podcast.

It's almost unbearable watching this incredible fantasy in an age of political insanity.

Righteous Gemstones just keeps getting better and better. Edi Patterson was simply incredible imo. Just good silly fun

While I'm leaning more left every day, I'm more interested in getting a few people in the actual West wing who are there to serve. And to have a President who is actually smart and kind.

the generalization is that people lean more right as they age, but it's certainly been the opposite for me. and i guess for you too. maybe it's a generational thing. maybe our generation leans more left as we age.

i'd be surprised if usa ever had a president who was there to serve.

hope im not politarding up the thread too much. i remember it was fun to watch west wing and see people who were trying to make the country and the world a better place

Same. I sure hope the orange guy is a one off and not the new normal. I never would have dreamed there would come a day I'd be happy to trade a Prez in for a return to W, lol, but here we are.
