Halt and catch fire was underwatched
I really liked Altered Carbon but it's kind of campy.

Oh, I don't know if anyone watched A Very English Scandal but I thought it was great. Hugh Grant is in it and other big names.

Damages is a good/great drama.
Patriot is a great dark comedy

Any of you see "I think You Should Leave"? Talk about a show with potential that needs better editing. So many funny moments and then so many lame ones.

I started watching the old Shield crime drama (2002-2008) for the first time and it is terrific. Shocking violent and degeneracy of all kinds, it makes the Italian mob series Suburra (2017) seems light. It has a great cast and solid stories with twists and turns. I thought Season 3 ep. 3 was especially well done.

Surprisingly the Shield reminded me of Breaking Bad since the lead character, a cop, is a middle class family man with a disabled child with a loose moral compass who interacts with drug gangs and tries to make a fortune. There is even a scene of him in a storage locker with huge mountain of cash like the future Breaking Bad.

There is also a of a crime scene investigation in one episode (s3,e2?) that looks like a future episode of Dexter with a CSI guy that looks like Dexter.

Overall BB, and other more recent shows, are better done, but The Shield delivers the gut punches like no other.

There are a few episodes which are easily in my top 10 episodes ever.

Ya that was my response to that as well. I watched Seinfeld and Fraiser while it was airing, I'm still watching Seinfeld reruns within the last year, haven't watched Faiser since it was still airing.

'Happy!' Cancelled At Syfy. No Season 3 for the cable drama.

Lame! I just found out about that show last week lol.

Sneaky Pete got cancelled too. I have not watched the latest season yet because reviews are not that good.

The Shield confirmed one of the GOATS. I still contend it has the best Pilot/Finale combo in television history. Will rewatch soon.

Season 5 and 7 are the best! The whole series is available in 4k since a few months, will rewatch after im done with Lost.

Between watching Chernobyl and Fleabag this past month I don’t see how any show is going to reach their level again.

Designated Survivor S3 dropped on Netflix a couple days ago. It's ok, I enjoyed the first 2 seasons so I figured I'd stick around with season 3 and see what's what.

Enjoying Lodge 49 on Hulu. Kind of a trippy stoner dramedy set in Long Beach. The lead actor is really good. Tough to explain as there isn't that much plot, but it's a very interesting and funny character study. Actress who plays the sister is great also, and gorgeous to boot.

I loved the shield but wish they had cut out 2 seasons.
