will keep watching. Pilot was good. Definitely felt a bit like "The end of the ****ing world".

This is how I feel. I'm s2e6 right now first time watching. It's ok, but I'm never super inclined to watch. I feel like it's going to be a long haul getting thru all 6 seasons, but still doing it. My wife however really wants me to watch it, and it's her second time through. So, we always sit down to watch TV, and she's like Sopranos?? Sometimes I'm into it, other times I hesitantly agree.

Tonight for example. We were in all night with no plans.

Watch one ep. She's like another? No. Let's watch something else.

We do an ep of Shark Tank. Easy casual watching.

Then pilot of Black Monday - great show. Looking forward to more eps.

Then You. You was super easy to watch and I'd rather binge through a season of that than Sopranos.

That being said, Sopranos is still good. Just not great. At least not yet. Never have this huge urge to watch it. Maybe it gets better.

Lol yeah this is crazy.

The dream sequences in Sopranos were incredible. Final scene of Join the Club might be my favorite of the entire series.

I mean the first scene of the pilot was Tony in a psychiatrist's office because he was having panic attacks. This should be your first clue that this was not going to be a typical mob show. Most of the Sopranos was Tony's inner turmoil about being trapped in a life he hates. The dream sequences were an integral part of the story. I'm amazed when people complain about them because they want to get back to the "action".

If your Sopranos seasons consisted of 20 episodes you might have watched the wrong show.

Who are all these people you guys talking about complaining about lack of action? You're the only ones itt who've used that word.

K... 5 and 10 instead of 5 and 15. Still a lot of fluff.

Sopranos is definitely more experimental than some of the other all time great shows. I can't see how it has aged poorly though. I guess the pilot do feel kind of dated, but i was never a huge fan of season 1 to begin with. A good season, but similar to breaking bads first. It became much greater.

For me, it slightly edges out the wire as the greatest show of all time.
I have yet to find anyone who agrees, but i have Justified in third place.

Sopranos typically had 13 episodes per season btw.

Atlanta is outstanding and unique. I’m not a huge fan of Donald Glover’s music or standup but he’s a great actor and I really enjoyed both seasons so far. Non spoiler clip from the show:

That clip is from the show Atlanta?

Justified is a great show, starts off with one off type episodes but picks up pretty quick. I have it in my top 10, it has great drama and just cool AF. Just outside the 1st tier elites.

I only watched the last couple season when it aired and liked it, so seeing amazon has all 6 seasons, I can go back and watch it from the beginning.

This man speaks the truth. Justified is very underrated.

I like it. Idk if Wayne is a typical member of his generation, because I like Wayne. Wayne takes care of business.

I still havent watched Sopranos. I came to it late and have made a couple attempts to watch the pilot and been bored. I guess I should stick with it.

Yeah, it is great. One of the main characters was not intended to stay on after the pilot, so the first season is slow. S2 and onward, 5 bags of .

The West Wing for sure held up well for me, at least it did in 2014 when I watched for the first time (holy ****, time flies!). That was of course before the current political climate, lol.

That scene is from a "show within a show" interstitial. Atlanta breaks convention regularly. Worth watching.

Most seasons have blended together for me but I know I was loving the show way before the final 2 seasons so I know there is a lot of great stuff still to see.

I read rumors that Aaron Sorkin is working on a West Wing reboot?

I recently rewatched some old Veep episodes on a flight and a lot of that “wtf, that would be hilarious” turned into “yep, that’s how they do stuff these days”. Curious to see how ridiculous they have to go on the last season.

It is pure, unadulterated schlock, but I rarely have more fun watching TV than when Gotham is on.
