Go watch Mars: "Inside SpaceX" on the National Graphic website. It's really well done.

It's like an episode 0.

Anyone watch Get Shorty? I've liked the first two episodes. Had no idea Chris Dowd was this good.

I don't like his eyes or his accent, but the show is pretty good.

Season one clearly had a chump change budget. The animation is great in some spots and very quickly done in others. The voice acting is "okay". Some people think it's great but I almost needed subtitles to even hear/understand the main character slurring (he's a drunk, not a spoiler).

Overall it was solid though. I haven't watched the episodes from Season 2 yet but I'd recommend it to anyone. It's very gruesome in parts. I remember being very much on board at the end of Season 1 though, even if it's just a couple episodes. The last half of the last ep made it well worth watching imo.

Also, if you know any Castlevania lore from the games, that makes it more interesting, although definitely not required.

ya me and the wifey liked it quite a bit.
wish they were a little better at inserting some easter eggs (like in fargo) but super minor nit pick.

hoping it gets picked up by Netflix for another season, as I'm pretty sure epix is done with it, but not holding my death, and based off the end of season 2 it really seems like the showrunners didn't think they were going to get anymore eps either.

Chris Dowd is great! People don't like The IT crowd? Obviously he's playing a totally different type of role but he does it extremely well. I really liked Moone Boy as well. I thoroughly enjoyed Get Shorty.

It's definitely on my list. I'll have to watch the first episode and see what I think. Thanks for your feedback.

About five episodes in and this, exactly. It's not at True Blood level of eyeroll, but a lot of the direction takes me completely out of the "story," whatever that ends up being.

Escape at Dannemora on Showtime is good.

7 episodes. True story about a woman that worked in a NY prison and helped 2 inmates escape. It happened a couple of years ago.

Apparently the IG report provided all the factual details for the screenplay. There wasn't that much information released after it happened so I'm really interested to watch this. It's a crazy story. Also Paul Dano's role is a departure for him and I'm curious to see how he does with this.

I saw this on the guide last night and had never heard of it. Thanks for the heads up.

I thought it was 8 episodes so I had decided to power through it. Episode 6 was 30 minutes and it felt like 3 hours. Then I realized it is 10 episodes. Unless my wife twists my arm, I think I'm done.

Already used my free trial of YT video. I won't pay for that until season 2 of Cobra Kai comes out next year.

I'm halfway through the first episode of "Dogs," on Netflix. The first episode is about service dogs for children, and I've already just about burst into tears 5 times.
