Gaddy - surprised it took until season 3 of leftovers to enjoy it. I get that season 1 wasn't great, but season 2 was absolutely awesome.

bojack horsemen (netflix original) is in my top 7 all time fav shows.
not just fav comedies, fav shows.

ive watched it more times than any other show, enjoy it (and pick up new things) more every time thru, and its the only show ive ever binged and then immediately started watching it again from the beginning.
its absolutely perfect, pure genius.

The Wire really is like chapters of a book where you really just have to fully commit to watching it. By the end, you'll appreciate its greatness. You could say it's similar to the The Leftovers in that regard, as I was on the fence about The Leftovers really into the final season, which was so good that it made me appreciate the rest of it more. The Wire isn't quite like that -- I'd rank the seasons 4, 3, 1, 5, 2 (maybe even 2, 5, but I put 5 ahead because I do like how it wrapped up) -- but I'd say I didn't really appreciate its greatness until S3 or S4. As for Justified, it doesn't really hit its stride until the stretch run of S1, and then S2 is one of the best seasons of TV ever.
i agree with every single word in this post.
ppl who appreciate justified as much as it deserves have a special place in my heart.

I was enjoying it enough to keep watching it. I just wasn't anywhere near sold on its greatness until the end. A big part of my hesitance was the religious connotations built into the plot. I really needed to see how it all played out before knowing if I could buy into it, and seeing that made me appreciate the rest more. It will be interesting to rewatch at some point knowing all that.

Unsurprisingly, my least favorite episode of the season was the one focusing solely on Alison. Not sure what to make of the two sides of the story. I'm just displeased to learn there is another season of this. I thought I was done. Even though it's been all over the place, I have enjoyed much of this season, particularly the previous week with Pacey and McNulty together.

In the category of "Shows I would have never though I'd like" Making It with Amy Poelher and Nick Offerman is a very charming, fun, competition reality show based around crafting.

It's funny, it's cute, it's nice. Good overall show for some brain bleach

I gave up on this but if you like it go back and find The Mis-Adventures of Awkward Black Girl.

Party Down was a great comedy that doesn't get much attention. Only watched it when it came out but remember really liking it.

12 monkeys is getting a bit boring, if i was watching it alone i probably would have dropped it. (Midway s3)

Bojack Horseman season 4 on the other hand is great. Episode 4 i think

the affair:

Spoiler:

Vic: I don't want to die
Helen: I don't want you to die either
SenorKeed: I want all of you to die

Hot slut neighbor pregnancy reveal was loltastic, would lol again

So that Army dude is just gonna get away with killing the rat faced lady? WTF? I mean yes she deserved to die and I hope she burns in hell, but come on. Is the next season going to be like a Pacey and McNulty buddy cop deal where they go around trying to find the real killer? Actually sign me up, that sounds OK.

Listen, the Gomorrah Tv series is fine but its like the Survivor reality show. except that nobody is likeable or heroic , all are killers .Each episode its basically the same. Some gangsters gets upset with another gangster and "vote" him out. Surprisingly the targeted gangster does little to protect himself, sometimes walks around in the open streets or naively answers a knock on the door himself, and then "bam".

Three things Jack Ryan has working against it, imo, as someone who read too much Clancy growing up:
- we're like a decade late for CIA SUPERHERO JACK RYAN TV SHOW feeling relevant, no one wants Jack Bauer anymore
- oh cool, like one Clancy book was set in the Middle East but I guess this is going for the same thing as every other national security show so we're gonna hear a lot of Arabic accents
- John Krasinski? Really?

I remember thinking Clancy was ****ing badass when I was like 16, now I think it's all pretty masturbatory. Red Storm Rising is pretty good, though, fairly realistic story about one way the Cold War could have turned hot.
