If you're going to quit I recommend watching at least one more first, I think you'll enjoy that episode a lot.

I've been away from 2+2 for months, and after ripping through Ozark last week, I came back to see what people have said about it. I was shocked to discover that it doesn't have its own thread. I guess there are a lot of shows to choose from these days.

I was thoroughly entertained. I had a hard time quitting every night so I could go to bed.

I'm all in for anything Jason Bateman does, and I think there were several other excellent performances as well.

The only "oh, come on" scene for me was the garbage truck, and only major plot twist I found predictable was Buddy and the shotgun.

Sign me up for season 2 whenever it's ready.

OMG have any of you caught the new show The Good Doctor yet?

I had only just heard about some show that was apparently a big hit...and I happened across it while channel surfing...did not know a thing about it.

Holy **** I think I have found the funniest bad show on TV.

It's about - get this - a young resident doctor who is autistic. And we know he's autistic because.he.talks.in.a.stacato.monotone.like.this and he does crazy stuff like count the number of steps from the ambulance to the ER entrance. Wacky!

It seriously the worst thing on network TV that I've seen in years. But it's hilarious.

Speaking of autistic, I'm finally watching the original Danish version of The Bridge, Bron/Broen. It's very good in a lot of ways. I like the 2 main characters well enough that I'll stick with it for more seasons, looks like there's at least 1 more after this.

If web series are allowed I just finished season nine of On Cinema at the Cinema. The host has different guests on each week to review movies.

I've been fascinated with the Zodiac case for years, bums me out he's never been caught.

I think the only chance of finding out out who he was (I think he's dead) is through Familial DNA or a really long shot scenario where a family member (assuming he had any kids or other family to care) finds a box of his stuff and inside is the torn shirt of the cab driver and crazy costume he wore when he attacked that couple at Lake Berryessa AND the family member is familiar enough with the case to recognize their importance (likely trashed a long time ago).

Lost interest in that show after the first season for some reason but if that was true, I'd definitely tune back in

im watching nobel on netflix. it's pretty good, but what's really exciting is the intro is auto skipped! not even a skip intro button! it just does it automatically

So you're saying now on Netflix it skips the intro?

Just in case that's not what you're saying

It was just a quick little side thing on the newest cult season, not actually about it.

Every season is totally new so you can not like 1 but like the next.

Watched first episode of Future Man (new show on Hulu). Awesome, hilarious.

Quote:
Josh Futterman is stuck in a dead-end job as a janitor. All he wants to do is play Biotic Wars, a seemingly unbeatable video game. When he successfully completes the game, mysterious visitors from the future appear: the world is in danger, and Josh is the only one who can save it.
Produced by Goldberg/Rogen, who also directed the first 3 episodes. Stars Josh Hutcherson & Elize Coupe.

For anyone else that watches this,

Spoiler:
wow the James Cameron episode was absolutely perfect. I wonder how many nods (whether in dialogue, filming, cinematography, score) there were to his movies. Absolutely brilliant.

I tried rewatching the great early 90s comedy Northern Exposure this week, just wasn't feeling it at all. While still pleasant in tone with some interesting characters, the dialog and situations struck me as pretty thin gruel overall. I guess the world and tv have changed a lot since back then!

I rewatched Rome recently and enjoyed it as much the 2nd time around. I think just the right amount of time had passed so that some of the storylines I had forgotten.

It's a great show. Vastly underappreciated by the masses.

Not loving S2 of Girlfriend Experience. Having it split into two makes it come across like The Affair, and not in a good way. Plus the political storyline seems ABC and the other one is just creepy and strange. I feel like I'm watching stories the writers wanted to tell, which they kind of found a way to intersect with escorting, whereas the first season that concept was more central to everything. Probably will finish the season though, and hope that if it comes back for S3 it returns more to the core concept.

I actually just watched the entire series about a year ago. I would put on an episode right before bed to relax, it really does an amazing job of bringing you into that small town and the "simple" people.

Holds up pretty well imo

Rewatching breaking bad, already at ep 8 in season 3 in 1.5weeks.
The first half of S3 really was not that good, bit boring at times. Series as a whole is top 3 all time for me.
