Agreed plus you might like Carnivale.

I'm going to have to try out River if BG recommends it.

Anyone watching Norsemen? I quite enjoyed it. A Norwegian comedy about Vikings with a real Monty Python feel. Is on Netflix.

Norsemen is good. I wouldn't put it on Monty Python's level but definitely has that Python-esk type of humor.

I really enjoyed Norsemen. Looked amazing, great characters, and, while the jokes didn't always hit, it's had some of the funniest individual bits I've seen this year.

I was disappointed because when I youtubed Norsemen the trailer that showed up was basically just the Hoster Tully funeral scene done in a comedic fashion , but I'll give it another shot since you guys said it's worth it.

I think it's a show that you will either really like or really dislike. No middle ground.

I caught the first episode of season 4 of the wire starting on tv a couple of nights ago and obviously had to binge watch the entire season after seeing it. So ****ing good.

I don't know if I should start season 5 now or start watching from the first season again.

So SEALs is basically The Unit 2.0 with slightly less wife story lines.

im struggling to get through river

i don't like fauda. i thought first episode was great, but now it just seems like sloppy tv. the lead is terrible. i read he's an ex idf soldier, so probably not an actor.

for an israeli show, it shows the palestinians pretty favorably, but still it's ridiculously biased obviously. one really nasty tactic is to cast better looking people to play the israelis.

Yes!

Kind of funny that Orville is more like Star Trek than Star Trek Discovery.

Agreed. However this last ep was terrible, couldn’t get past the first 10 minutes. I don’t think they should have a doctor centric ep again, she’s worse than polaski and her kids are worse than worfs son

It was okay. Yeah the kids were annoying but I thought the robot interacting with them was funny. LOL at blasting that kid's handheld game console.

Also was a bit surprised with the doctor stabbing and killing the alien.

The first episode of Rolling Stone: Stories From the Edge is spectacular. Some amazing footage and interviews of Tina Turner, John Lennon, Annie Liebovitz, Cameron Crowe, Hunter S. Thompson, Jan Wenner, Jon Landau, Bruce Springsteen and more...

And that's just the first hour...

Not really sure what River you watched.. the one I saw is the one on Netflix starring Stellan Skarsgård, and it was British, not Israeli.

Pretty sure that's the one everyone is talking about.

Lol I did this exact same thing. I thought fauda was a character I had forgotten or something so Googled it and realized he was talking about another show.

Somehow the pilot of SWAT was mildly entertaining. I fully expect it to go to **** by episode 3 or 4.

I am really liking STD though. It might not be everyone's favorite especially if you like old trek but I am a big fan of 90% serialized story lines.
