FWIWThe 3rd season of The Fall was awful and I liked seasons 1 & 2. Really disappointing.

Is there a thread for Atlanta? I think it's really good, just started it. Puts Master of None to shame in my book.

Hand of God

It's an Amazon original series. 2 seasons released so far, 10 episodes each. It's not an elite show, but it's well worth a watch.

Stars the guy from Sons of Anarchy with the gigantic chin, who plays a judge who starts receiving signs he thinks are from god and if he follows the directions, the deal is that God will save his son (who is in a coma at the start of the show).

Bubbles from the Wire plays the Mayor. He still has his same street rat type accent, but he does dress nicer.

Season 1 was better than season 2, but 2 was still worth the watch and will get me to watch season 3 whenever it comes out.

I liked Ep1 but did not like ep2. It had some moments but the women was off putting, she looked like a weird Liv Tyler or something.

I think that was part of it tho, I found her really awkward and I think they kind of wanted that.

I thought the reveal was excellent again, I hope they can keep that part up for how many ever episodes there are, I doubt it though

I don't mind Animal Kingdom. It's not amazing or anything though. The movie Animal Kingdom is well worth a watch, I think it is better than the TV show.

Regarding Twin Peaks do I need to have seen the original series to enjoy it? I'm assuming I don't.

yes you do, and if you watch the first 2 seasons and like it you should watch the movie before the new episodes

Started watching Ozark. Thought the pilot was very dark and promising, but it has definitly got slower and "lighter" during episodes 2 and 3. Does it live up to Pilot promises again mid season ?

EDIT- Oops, found some answers regarding that topic earlier in the thread. Looks like i'm not the only one.

No.

Thought it started off promising but ended very poorly. Very unlikely I watch a new season if it happens.

Rewatching one of my all time favorites Mad Men, with gf now.
First 2 eps were fantastic

Does Mad Men's quality stay high throughout the show?

I watched it a while back, but stopped, and would like to give it another go now that it's finished.

I think so yes, season 4 and 5 are the show's best seasons. I didn't think the series finale was that good, but it was oke. Still one of the best show's out there imo.

Still watching Salvation but nothing all that great. When does The Last Ship start back up?

Just watched the original Robocop. Damn it was funny to watch the weak CGI, bad acting, etc. I remember thinking is was pretty good when it came out but now it looks cheesy as hell, good for lots of lulz though

Watched 2 eps of Atypical, I just think it's tremendous. Characters seem like real people trying to get along and make it in the world, but it doesn't sacrifice entertainment while doing that. Autistic kid's behavior is handled a little broadly at times, but that's a minor quibble. Very good-spirited and life affirming.
