I think the BLL finale sorta underdelivered. It wasn't bad, just not great.

Do I need to watch The Leftovers?

Just watched the least three episodes of Big Little Love. Thought it was excellent all the way around. For some reason expected to be underwhelmed by the finale, but it was very well done. Show deserves more love than it got on here. Good story, well written with excellent acting. Even the kid actors were very good.

if you liked it so much you might actually know the name of the show

Yes. Season 1 was good, Season 2 was one of the greatest thing to ever air on TV.

It's probably not for everyone though. You have to be fragile/beta enough.

I can't believe BLL gets such love. I thought it was very boring and slow.

Leftovers is great imo. Looking forward to the final season starting up soon.

Was Big Little Love the show where the guy only has 2 wives, not 3?

Or was it the one where he has 3 wives, but they're all little people?

I get those confused.

Big Little Love was boring. I'd say the first 3 eps were the fewest.

I could not get into the first ep but will try again. I was tired at the time. I found the music/writing/general vibe cheesy. Made for teens imo.

i watched 13 reasons why. had a 9.1 imdb at the time. its made for teenage girls i guess. got real bad down the stretch but i had to keep going. it became full of sjw cliches and lazy writing.

Brockmire on IFC is a decent comedy
Hank Azaria and Amanda Peet.

7 episodes in on The Leftovers and I'd highly recommend it. It started off a little slow but was intriguing enough that it didn't bother me. Things start coming together around episode 5 and episode 6 was brilliant.

Shocked to see no Bates Motel thread in this forum, easily one the best written and acted shows in the past few years. Last episode was insane.

marathoned s1 of the leftovers only to get to s2 which I've heard is awesome. s2 ep 1-2 are both really good and i'm excited.

Show is slow at times but overall great. I think the "real" world after a blatantly religious event occurs is a fascinating setting.

I have a very weird infatuation with Nora on the show. also Aimee
