I doubt many here watch it, but The Big C is not that bad of a show. You have to go into it not expecting much, and it's worth it. 2 seasons and it's been enjoyable throughout. It can be a bit chicky, but it's good.

This season's finale was pretty well done. Very sad.

Lol, are you serious? The second one was probably the worst episode of the entire show. The first one was ok though.

The finale to Warehouse 13 was aight. I like to watch this show before I go to bed to see if it'll give me trippy dreams.

That and I'd love to bang Claudia.

Ratings as of September 29th for the 18-49 demo. Bad news for Community. With the cancellation of The Playboy Club there are now only 3 shows ranking lower on NBC. Could be trouble when 30 Rock resumes.

Amazing how much New Girl is crushing. Broke Girls is doing very well but there was a huge drop between week 1 and 2.

It wrinkles my brain to see such a small audience for Breaking Bad.

I enjoyed E2 of Whitney. It's been picked up for the rest of the season!

This premieres in January:

Watching Brave New World with Steven Hawking. It's about important technological breakthroughs that could shape our future.

Pretty excellent so far. 1st segment was about driverless cars. The host was scared ****less. 2nd segment is about transmitting and reading brain patterns to map out remote control functions (controlled using your brain/thoughts).

I'm looking forward to one day getting in my private vehicle, programming a destination, and having time to do other stuff while it gets me there.

Anyone see that new American Guns show or whatever it's called on Discovery? It's only worth watching because of the jailbait daughter.

My gf keeps telling me that "Whitney" is amazing. I have only seen one scene so far when it was on the end of my DVR recording of The Office. I thought it was cute, and that she was kinda fiesty.

Is this show any good? Anybody watch it regularly?

It is one of the worst sitcoms I have ever seen. It's not funny. It's often creepy, and it tries too hard. She's also involved with 2 Broke Girls, and that one is MILES better than Whitney, though it doesn't make me laugh, either.

For some reason, she thinks she's smoking hot, and wants to be in lingerie in every episode. The fact that we have to see her greasy looking boyfriend looking for a payoff makes it worse. The role playing they did in every episode really turned me off. I "canceled" it after the third episode. There was zero improvement, or changes, by then, which made me think they think it's perfect already.

But, what does my opinion really mean?

Dunno I enjoy Whitney. 1st ep was so-so, then every ep was better than the previous one.

I really enjoyed Once Upon a Time. Completely acid tripping crazy concept of a show and the acting was a little hit and miss, though the average should be high with Jennifer Morrison and Robert Carlyle balancing out the pretty poor efforts from Snow White, but it has a clear idea of what its going to achieve and set it out nicely while covering a hell of a lot of stuff in a normal length premiere.

Exactly. This is how my opinion on Whitney changed.

After seeing previews months in advance of the show: Wow, how did this show ever get green lit?

After the first episode: That was better than I thought it would be.

After every episode since then: Wow, this show keeps getting better.

So what is this show about? My wife mentioned it to me but neither one of us know what it's about, is it one fairy tale or multiple fairy tales?

Interesting. I did see the preview NBC put out before the season and it was abysmal and haven't thought about the show since. But, I have had NBC on in the background twice in the last month when Whitney was airing and I half-watched for maybe 15 minutes total and what I saw was OK. I might have to watch an episode.

Slightly spoilery, but nothing that you wont learn within like 20 min of the ep and only the very basic outline:


It involves a lot of different fairy tales - the main story is Snow White so it has a lot of their characters, it has a bunch of Pinocchio's characters, Rumplestiltskin is in the story (that is Robert Carlyle) and according to wikipedia it will have a few characters from Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty and Hansel and Gretal.
