Has anyone seen the last few episodes of Gold Rush? Basically they spent $300,000 to get $20,000 in gold. To top it off, they have a huge glory hole (LOL) and the guy that owns the property won't let them come back. So they did all the hard work and next year people that know what they are doing will have easy access to the gold.
So now the crew is spending even more money to dig for gold 400 miles north in the Yukon mountains. They need something like 300 ounces just to break even. I think they got 20 ounces last season. And now it's going to be even more remote, more difficult and a shorter window of oppurtunity because it's further north and in the mountains.
They keep talking about glory holes and virgin soil. LOL.
They are all pretty big idiots. When the had that cleanout where they got like $11000 worth of gold and they were all super excited, it was like, you must have spent $4000 in fuel and split it 7 ways, so you made $1000 each for a week of work. lol.
I like your rankings, except I put Frannie at number two and move everyone else down a notch. Rebecca plumped up a little this season imo, still gorgeous though ldo. Ashley is just ridiculously perfect though.
Pretty good wrap up, I was satisfied. I really think Greek was a great show, one of the best ever in the high school/college genre. After Freaks and Geeks, it might be number two.

Thoughts on Millennium and/or Harsh Realm, created by Chris Carter(x-files)?
I've seen Millennium and, iirc, I liked it at first but it didn't end well (I think it was cancelled, or something and the last season didn't go as planned). Just looked it up, Chris Carter wasn't involved with season 2, due to x-files obligations and then came back for season 3. Apparently (I don't really remember), the story didn't flow very well. In the end it was cancelled on a cliffhanger and then there was a crossover episode in season 7 of x-files. I don't remember how much was tied up. I guess there's some vague talk of a future movie.
Millennium is really good, however each season is almost a completely different show with very different mood and themes. Starts off as a pretty straight forward Silence of the Lambs type series (really Manhunter/Red Dragon based). Evolves into apocalyptic Christian mythology then a Parallax View/Three Days of the Condor/Rubicon conspiracy.
Harsh Realm was good and ahead of its time. But it also got cancelled after 9 eps without any real resolution.
Its one of those shows you watch to say you have watched it, often to bitch about Fox cancelling shows, but i wouldnt rush to see it. Even though i enjoyed it i watched it around 5 years ago and didnt consider buying the DVD or rewatching it since, it was no Firefly.
