What happened here is you ruined a good show for yourself by looking for plot holes. You've found plot holes, some of which aren't plot holes at all, and are now trying to ruin this good show for everyone else. Going forward your best course of action is to stop watching this show and stop discussing it.

Seems to me that all of those points are either about character development, or aren't plot holes as they're already explained/are part of the story. Seems a pretty good show to me, so far.

Anyone check out The Bear?

It’s really freaking good!! It stars Lip from Shameless and he’s as good, or better in this than he should’ve been in Shameless.

I think I made it through one Ep, just not my thing even though it seems to be well-reviewed. It helped convince me to cancel a few of my less watched streaming services.

My GF had never seen Firefly, so we're watching it....I had forgotten how damn great it is.

yeah, Firefly and Serenity are really entertaining, and Morena Baccarin is mesmerizing.

The thing about The Bear is that they tow the line between comedy and drama so often that every scene involving food prep, knives or machines, makes me incredibly anxious. I keep expecting finger tips chopped and large mixers to yank an arm off or something lol

The Bear is as true to life in a real kitchen as I've seen. Very strong cast.

If you like kitchen drama, the movie Boiling Point (2021) is supposed to be really good, drama thriller. I have not seen it yet. Free on Roku Channel and Hoopla.

Yeah. I worked at one in the mid-late 90s and every month or so, we’d have that major implosion like they had in episode 7. One of those where you can’t believe there is still a staff let alone customers lol

I watched the Falcon and Winter Soldier.
Is Mackey just doing a Will Smith impression? Or am I just racist?

His performance reminds me of when thay Jay Pharaoh guy used to imitate big Willy on SNL

The GOAT WOAT finale. It’s spectacularly bad. New Blood is pretty solid though.

Keeping FX alive through branding on hulu regardless of whether the shows air or not is one of the smartest things done in streaming.

The Resort, a black comedy, mystery I guess? Created by the guy who wrote Palm Springs and the guy who created Mr Robot, starring Cristin Milioti and William Jackson Harper. I like pretty much everyone involved so I'll be watching
