i enjoy the characters and the cinematography quite a bit more than the writing.

i thought the sequence of events that resulted in the Bridges and Brenneman characters connecting was beautifully acted and filmed.

Money Heist: Korea

I generally like Korean things. Bad rating so far. Worthwhile?

Kind of sloppy season overall, but still great and they obviously had to readjust the story.

Agree with assessment. Also think Polly was so critical to the show and her absence this season was really evident. Thought finale was a lot of fun though

Only watched the trailer but I've seen the Spanish version (sounds like maybe you haven't?). Based on the trailer, it looks like this follows *exactly* the storyline of S1 of the Spanish version, as in it's basically just a copy but in Korean. So I'm guessing maybe the bad ratings are because people were expecting a new story?

The original isn't great, but S1 of that was quite watchable with lots of clever twists and turns. I'd just watch that instead, as the Spanishness does add quite a lot to its flair.

I really liked Money Heist, as silly as it was. Not touching this...

weak points: the daughter calls & wife ****, the staging of the action given the premise

strong points: most of the conversation scenes

the littlefield scene was great, the brenneman scenes were great, bridges/lithgow was great, etc

could be a good series if they slowed everything down, really laid into dan's ability to manipulate ppl as an explanation of his longevity

Any point watching Westworld? Reviews look positive, but perhaps that's just by comparison to S3.

Tbf it had me fooled until the end! Shame, I'd love to see a show do something like that.

There's no way I'm watching it until the season ends and the reviews are still positive. Not falling for it again

Premiere was pretty good. We'll never get another masterpiece like season 1, but still worth watching imo.

Also going to wait until it's all out for Murders, and see what people say.

Maybe just where my head was, but I felt I ran out of steam with S1. The leads were obviously great, but I kinda lost interest with it.

I felt the same. I was ready for it to be over and I don't have much interest in season 2.

I could only make it through maybe 10 minutes of Season 3. Nice to hear that it was no good.

Totally hilarious and entertaining, and so well made that it fits right into the 'unseen' things that happened in E4 as the story gets going.

"Oh, it's your cousin's droid? Is that your cousin? Hey you, are you his cousin?"

"Yeah yeah, well I've got a wife and kids too, but you don't see me going around stealing Imperial droids."
I just watched the last episode of Obi-Wan and followed that up by watching select parts of Star Wars ("A New Hope"). Obi- Wan tied up a bunch of loose ends that existed in the original Star Wars movie. The video you provided above tied up some more.

why couldn't it be "the experienced female" instead of the old man

The Old Man ep3 I love the acting of Bridges and Lithgow, but lol plot . Old Man should call Old Boy for help! Plot holes for those that care:

Spoiler:

1. Old man finally decides not to kill a guy only this guy is an actual assassin so it is a stupid choice. Guess we need that assassin alive for the show.
2. By some wonderful coincidence the Old Man's daughter is in the supposedly highly secure CIA in the exact unit that is chasing him ... amazing what can happen isn't it? Can't wait for writers to come up for a plausible explanation.
3.The Old Man says he needs to have that inept reluctant woman, Zoe, go with him. Why on earth?
4. We now have a hint why Hamzad really wants the Old man alive. Not revenge but for more than that. You can guess why. But why is this is the CIA's business? oh well

I was just thinking that it would have been nice if they had cast Moses Ingram in the lead.
