I predicted the main baddie was cops bro. No idea what was up with that, just a big nothingburger. Why did he kill him? Why was he concerned with his minions bringing him in alive?

They got me with both knifings in 2nd to last ep and never saw old man being vip coming.

Hard to judge off just 1 season the way they left it but maybe 6/10 for me. Will watch s2, it’s def got promise.

ep1 showed much promise, but for me everything but the games was meh, the whole plot around the games was weak, some interesting concepts about modern society, no one caring about the next man, family member, pushing that nerrative has potential, but didnt really go hard enough with that , too much mainstream drama with no quality, i could be hard to please though ...7/10

so La Brea seems like terrible network tv, but I'm kind of interested.

I'm enjoying Foundation so far and it's exceeded my expectations but I had them pretty low to begin with. I have no clue how people who haven't read the books would receive them so take it with care.

im kind of in love with lead actress. she's great. but the show is kinda tedious. it hits you over the head with the problems of poverty, which is the point, but it does it in a clumsy, obvious way.

and even though i love the lead she is miscast. i mean she is a model/ballerina, daughter of a famous actress and a male model. she's not really the poverty type lol

and i hate the fantasy sequences. they are just a fail.

also, i don't trust the author. the show is based on her book, and she has an incentive to embellish her story

ok i'm definitely going to give it a chance then

remember thinking based off ads for it that it wouldn't have anything to do with books other than core concepts since they were promoting it as action packed whereas iirc book was more nuanced political stuff - although books started getting weird once mule etc joined the party

After last episode ended I was still suspicious of Jan, today's episode heightens that but I think someone else is involved, no idea who though. Which makes for good watching!

Watching the 1st episode of the new series "Chucky" on USA, I can tell I will like it already. 100% on Rotten with 93% Audience.

After that is the new series "Day of the Dead" also on USA, Will try that tomorrow.

Then tomorrow night is season 4 of "The Sinner" on USA. Wow USA is jamming.
