I was thinking Ned Stark but Hodor was more impactful.

Pick your favorite Wire character: Bodie, Omar, Wallace, Frank. All sad in their own ways and all of them made you feel differently.

Lem's death too, but that was more off a shock, while Shane tricking is wife and kid to OD, and then shooting himself, was a real gut-punch.

The problem with The Wire is that it is too depressing. I'm not going rewatch anything other than season 3(possibly GOAT) ever again.

For me the second season of Mr Inbetween was mixed. First seven episodes are watchable but mild and a little dull except for a few scenes like the unicorn one. Then the series suddenly goes to full-on violent gangster mode from Ep 8 on where I lost empathy for Ray. Mostly Ray can't hold a conversation except for "mmmhh" and making that crooked smile. His brother, Bruce was better acted and worth watching.
